We bought this product for our 2 kids after researching many different models.  There are not that many to choose from, but a very wide price range among them.  It is almost impossible to find one that gets a majority of good reviews.  We got these for a really great deal during the Black Friday sales last year.  I also bought an extended warranty that will replace or repair for free for 2 years any defects, aside from water damage.  Based on the durability of portable electronics in general I felt this was a necessity. We've had them for about 6 months now and we have really enjoyed them!  The only "quirk" I've noticed is sometimes the screens is sort of divided into white shadowing looking boxes when you first turn the car on.  I just switch the stand-by button on and off and it reloads, starts the movie from where it left off, and is fine.  I'm not sure why but since I can fix it I haven't bothered to send it in or call about it.  The only other thing is the cords.  They have to be connected and I almost wish they were longer so that you could possible run them along the floorboard under the carpets.  Now they are straight across the two seats and the kids can sometimes kick them and knock them lose. Other than that the picture quality is great, although the sound could be a little louder.  The kids love them though and it couldn't make for more pleasant road trips!
