This product is very easy to use. It keeps odors away and helps me keep my cats healthy. The bags can be hard to find but most Walmarts in my area carry them. This makes for easy clean up so that the litter box is cleaner and the disposal couldn't be easier.  My teenagers even clean the litter box now and that is a rare sight.  The only downside to this product is that with multiple cats, you have to use more bags in a short amount of time.  I would like to see a bigger unit that holds more for cat owners that have more than two cats.

i love this product. i have 3 cats, and i love that all i have to do is scoop and turn. no more smell. so glad my friend recommeded the litter locker plus to me. everyone should have one. with 3 cats i was constantly running out to the trash can to get rid of the waste. now i dont have to.

I love this product.. it saves me from using sooo many different bags, like grocery bags.. the refils can be expensive, but you can buy them in bulk..  especially on sites like amazon.com or ebay.. you can get them cheeper there!  I have 4 cats so it definately helps with the smell!!!  works great!

This certainly made litter box cleaning easier.  My only thought was that it would have been nice if the Litter Locker Plus took Diaper Genie Refills too.  But most pet stores carry the refills so it was not that difficult to find them...just an extra trip to the pet store.

When I had 2-3 cats, I thought this product was awesome!  Kind of hard to use with clumping litter though, so I found myself breaking up the clumps so they would fit in the bags, which are wrapped around a giant spool.   But when I hit 4 cats in my home, I started going through so many bags and the sheer volume just didn't fit well.  I did use it for a few years and nothing broke or went wrong.  Bags can only be purchased at pet supply stores.

I purchased this system as an alternative to emptying my clumping litter into either used grocery bags that always have holes in them or into the garbage creating a stinky mess. The system uses a "diaper genie" approach. A ring which contains a long plastic sleeve is placed in the top of the container. I knot is tied at the end and the end is attached to the plastic "mechanism" inside. Each day after the litter box is cleaned, and the "clumps" are deposited, the handle on the outside is turned once to wind the plastic sleeve onto the internal mechanism and seal off the waste. Depending upon how many cats you have, the system will contain anywhere from a few days worth the over a week's worth of waste in my opinion. It does an excellent job of containing smells. Mine never smells unless I forget to empty it and it getts a little too full. It doesn't take up much space and is an excellent investment for any household with a kitty family member.

It really is a diaper genie for cat litter. You scoop the poop out & into the container, turn the handle & odor is gone. I used to use plastic shopping bags but this cuts down on the excess plastic as well - better for the environment! The only negative thing is that it can't clean the box itself.  Try petedge.com for the bags (& other supplies).

The litter locker is so easy to use, just tie the bag and secure it to the inside of the handle and start filling, when your full tie the other end. The cutter inside makes it so easy, you don't have to hunt for scissors. It's great for keeping the odor down. I would like to see it hold more for multiple cats they can fill it very quickly!!

This is a diaper genie for cats. It works really well with cutting down on odors. We have a very small apartment, so this is a great product for us! I do find that the bags run out quickly, and that our local pet store doesn't always have them in stock. I just stock up on the refills when I do find them, and all is well. it's easy to empty--just tie off the bag, remove from the roll, and put the whole thing in the trash bag. I'd like to see a larger model come out that would use thicker, larger bags.
