Hidden Gem!

My husband opted for this vacuum over a Dyson because of the attachment features. The flexible hose is much more maneuverable than a straight tube and makes cleaning the stairs and furniture just that much easier. Maneuverability I can pick this vacuum up and use it to vacuum out the back of my SUV. It's light and turns easily. The attachments are also very easy to use. Ease of Maintenance My husband does the maintaining (and majority of the vacuuming) but the filters are easy to remove and clean. We have yet to buy replacements as the filters wash so well. Suction Performance I am very impressed with the performance of this vacuum. It's amazing to me how much this vacuum gets out compared to our old one. Versatility It easily goes between carpeted floor and hardwood flooring without damaging the wood. Design Great design, very user friendly. Attachments make sense and are easy to remove for use. Durability We've had this vacuum for 2 years and LOVE it - it still sucks as well as the day we brought it home.

Good buy. Great warranty.

For the price, this vacuum is great. MUCH better and longer lasting suction power than Hoover, Dirt Devil, or Eureka. As long as you clean the filter every few months, the suction power stays strong. It has an easy empty canister and quite a few handy attachments. It also comes with a 5 year manufacturer warranty, which is nice for peace of mind. If the vacuum malfunctions or loses suction in any way, LG will REPLACE it within 5 years, not send it to be fixed. Maneuverability About as good as any other upright vacuum. A bit heavy (which is expected). Ease of Maintenance The filter can be quickly washed, but has to dry for a full 24hrs or more. You must make sure it is completely dry before using again. Suction Performance Suction stayed strong for me the entire time I had this vacuum, approx 4 years. Design Design seemed solid. Attachments easily and securely stored on the vacuum so they did not get lost. Durability Vacuum was relatively durable. I did have to exchange it once, but it was no hassle.

Love to Vacuum.

Something just charges me about sucking up dirt. This one has the power. I have had it about a year and it began to smell like my dogs. I was going to take it to a repairs shop. when I got out my owners manual out I found a replacement filter that came with my purchase. Wow, when I changed the filter all the suction power came back like new that I did not know was missing. The smell is gone. It was working better than I knew. It must filter everything. I know now to replace it more often. Maneuverability Kind of heavy, but ok trade off due to the power. Ease of Maintenance love the bag less. When I figured out the reset button, very happy. I ran over a string/ribbon. I had to clear it, but vacuum would not work. Got the owners manual out. hit the reset button, Goods a new. Suction Performance Better than any previous owned vacuum. I have never seen a vacuum suck up something that the tool has not touched yet. It can be about an inch away and suck it up. Versatility Love the removable wand that has the pet motorized head with power controls included in handle. Design They really thought of everything I ever wanted in a vacuum. Thanks LG. Durability After I learn to change the filter and power returned that I did not know I lost, I would say this is winner.

Can handle so many jobs

This vacuum seems to have all the bells and whistles. The wand is easily pulled off the unit and has an extendable arm to reach high places. The attachments are all permanently on the unit so they are easy to access. I did have an issue where the spinning brush got stuck and I had to take it apart, but I was able to fix it myself.

LG Vacuum LUV 300B is great at suction

We have had our LG vacuum for about 5 months now. We got it to replace an Oreck. We love the hypoallergenic feature as we have a cat and 2 people with allergies. It sucks up things very well and of course you can see your results in the canister. Amazing how dusty things can get. The canister is nice as no more bags to deal with, but we do empty it outside as some dust does come up when you dump it out. It is easy to move and we easily go from carpet to hardwood flor with just the touch of a button. The three levels of suction are great too when going from a low pile carpet to a higher pile. The vacuum is heavy- although my previous was an Oreck so that is a hard comparison. It also does not do a terrific job in getting close to the wall edges. It works best when you hit them straight on, but that is not always an option. The extension is great for stairs and cleaning behind thing. Overall a great vacuum, jsut a little heavy and needs a better edging system Maneuverability really heavy Ease of Maintenance pretty good Suction Performance excellent Versatility the nad held wand attachement is very easy to use Design good, but it is pretty clumking and heavy Durability good for the least 2 years

Nice vacuum!

After using other brands of vacuums and having them break within 6-months, I decided to try something a little "higher end". So far I am pleased. The vacuum does pick up quite a bit more than previous vacuum cleaners that I have owned. I can feel the pull on the carpet when the LG is being used. The drawback is that the vacuum is heavy but this is not a deal breaker. The overall quality and build is excellent...the parts feel solid. It was easy to assemble out of the box. The parts snap on and stay on securely thanks to convenient locks. The wand comes off the body of the vacuum and features a small "pet" base. The pet base has its own agitator which is powered by a remote switch on the wand. The remote switch is nice because you do not have to go to the vacuum to power the wand. The remote is powered by battery but there is also a power switch on the main body of the machine. The pet base can be removed and a swapped out with a brush wand as well. The cord is long, I vacuumed 4 rooms and did not have to unplug the machine. The vacuum is pretty quiet, which is a big plus. Two other things surprised me, the cord is not retractable and there is no light. These are minor inconveniences. BTW on the first day I ran over an fairly good sized rubber eraser, the machine sucked it up without problems. The LG is bagless and you can clearly see all of the dirt and things that it pulls in. The bagless system is easy to empty and clean. There is a filter which is replaceable. The machine came with one filter installed and one extra filter. I dont know yet if the filter is rinsable...that would have been nice to have also. The filter needs to be replaced every two months. There is a foot switch for "Low, Med, and High" carpets and there is also a control for that on the remote switch. The vacuum can also be used on flooring and the remote switch has a setting for carpet or floor. The other thing is that the main agitator stops when the handle is in a certain position, this prevents carpet snag and increases the life of the agitator. Nice feature! My concern is that it might be too complex if a problem arises but that is what the 5-year warranty is for. I compared this against Dyson and other machines in this price range. The Dyson is more expensive and I am NOT convinced that Dyson is actually better. I have not had this for a very long time so your experience may differ.

The Vacuum of all Vacuum's!

4

** So I won this a few months ago and have had a great experience with it. It collects 3 times the dust of a standard vacuum and this makes me one happy girl!! The suction on this baby is amazing! I don't have any pets but my mother has a dog and you should have seen how much dog hair this vacuum picked up. She said that two days before she used my vacuum she had spent an hour and a half cleaning her whole house with her current vacuum( which shall remain nameless to protect the innocent! LoL) anyways she used my vacuum two days later and the canister was filled to the max! She couldn't believe it! I couldn't believe it either since this vacuum compresses so much its actually hard to fill. My mother's a very clean person and I couldn't believe the amount of dust and pet hair that the LuV300B picked up from her house. My apartment is smaller, but this vacuum is every home owners dream. ** **The only downfall to this vacuum ( If I was forced to find one, is that is kind of bulky. It's not hard to push or anything but if your picking it up to go from one room to the next it is kind of heavy. Also it **compresses** the dirt together so sometimes I am thinking " wow its not picking up that much, because I can't see that much in the canister. But this isn't the case. It just clumps it all together in the canister. My floors look amazing after running the vacuum over it! I won this, therefore I did not pay for it. I do think that I probably wouldn't have had the money to buy this on my own, but if you do and your looking for a great vacuum then this is the way to go.** ****

Good, but why no auto retractable cord?

4

I have ready that LG LUV 200R is a very good vacuum. So I thought the LUV300B would be even better since it's more expensive. It's true except there is no auto-retractable power cord. LG LUV 300B has lots of thoughtful designs, and practical features that put the rest of the US brand vacuum to shame. The best feature is the kompressor. Of course, the thing is very similar to LUV200R It keeps compressing the dust and debri while the vacuum is operating. The result makes emptying the canister much much easier. Also, the looks and the build quality make it look like an very expensive equipment. The only downside is that the main handle is not very sturdy. Only time will tell if it is secure enough. Power suction is very good. The look and the finish of the vacuum is also excellent. The filter is also Hepa certified meaning this is especially good if you have bad allergy. After using this vacuum, there is no way I'd go back to other brands.

I'm a believer

Well I didn't think I needed a new vacuum.  My husband finally talked me into getting one because I constantly complained about the amount of dusting I was doing.  He blamed the vacuum.  He said it wasn't picking up enough of the dirt and it was just blowing it around. He was right!!!!  I've been using my new LG for about a month and the dust has gone way down.  When I empty the canister I can tell it is picking up the finer pieces of dirt and dust and not just the big stuff. For the price you are getting an excellent vaccum.  Don't waist your money on a Dyson.  Do your research...this vacuum is fantastic!
