Went to Ikea on the hunt for fitted sheets as the flat sheets we bought last time won't stay put on our new memory foam mattress. We were going to buy cotton sheets as usual, when I spotted Slumra, £3.25 for a double, less than half price of their basic fitted cotton double sheet! I said to my hubby, as the cotton won't stay on, maybe we should just try the cheapo fitted sheet in a poly cotton blend, just to see if a fitted sheet is any good without wasting money? We'd already made an expensive mistake with the flat sheets- beautiful sheets in themselves but no good for our strange new breed of mattress!- so...... We bought two Slumra doubles, what can I say but was very pleasantly surprised. Gets softer when washed a few times, washes very well, dries quickly and stays put on the mattress too. In the UK Ikea, they only had a pale lemon colour, but it's neutral and goes well with our white sheets and nobody sees it anyway! I would recommend these sheets as they are value for money, they stay on the mattress and are easy to care for.
