This is a newer version of the 5312-790 lantern, a rechargeable battery-powered lantern with great retro styling. It has a fluorescent bulb, and the "oil spout" functions as a nightlight. It comes with a household AC adapter charger and a charger for your car's power outlet, the latter of which can be stored in a compartment in the lantern's base. It's heavy and sturdy, so you won't need to worry about it tipping over easily, but it does need sturdy support if hung. It's great for camping, and for around the house for power outages and emergencies -- just remember to keep it charged!
