I got this printer as a high school graduation present, almost 6 years ago and has lasted through about 4-5 moves! It is just now starting to act up (but still working!!) If/when it finally dies on me, I definitely will not hesitate to buy another one (even with the super high price tag)! This little printer was smaller then the laptop that I had going into my freshman year of college! I know a lot of people like these portable printers because they are just that...portable. But let me tell you, when you are living in the dorms or sharing a room in a small apartment as a college student, it is extremely useful to have a small printer that can fit just about anywhere and print with amazing clarity and speed! Also, I am on my 3rd laptop )PC) since i've have this printer and it has been a super simple set up every time! Just connect with a USB and there you go! My parents have a MAC and it was also a super simple set up with the MAC as well!

I have two printers at home - an all-in-one and the small portable Canon inkjet printer.  The Canon printer gets more use than the all-in-one.  I use it regularly to print homework assignments, song lyrics for church, and the occasional printed coupon.  I do not use it to print pictures and cannot provide feedback on the quality of printed pictures.  I try to use only grayscale printing, but I am pleased with the rare color print.  I believe ink is overpriced for most printers, but the ink cost for my Canon printer is more reasonable than my all-in-one.  It uses two ink cartridges - one for black ink and one for color.  It is relatively light and is indeed ideal for portability.  When I take it to work, coworkers are amazed at the small size and how it meet basic printing needs. I purchased a Bluetooth adapter that allows me to print using wireless technology.  If you are looking for a simple printing option (as opposed to duplex printing, etc.), I recommend the Canon ip90V printer.

When I wanted a small, portable printer to travel along with my laptop, I turned to the Canon Pixma iP90V. This mighty little inkjet is absolutely great as partner to a laptop or netbook.  It's easy to transport, connects to the computer simply and produces crisp, clear black and white copies quickly. Color copies take a bit longer and are of acceptable quality for text. I have not tried graphics.  The iP90V is an amazing partner in printing that gives me the ability to take my basic computer needs on the road. I'm not a techie by any stretch of the imagination so needed a simple, basic and dependable printer.  I also needed one that would slip into the oversized laptop case I tote around from place to place.  The iP90V has clean lines, a silver-colored case with flip top and will accommodate multiple sheets of paper loaded into the upright paper tray.  Last, but by no means least, is the very reasonable price this printer commands. I'm more than satisfied with this little giant.
