C Spire / Cellular South is absolutely terrible. I have been a customer for the last 14 years but mysteriously they lost my start date when they began the Perc Points. Anyway when this company changed names and got bigger they customer service and the service went down the tube. Trying to get assistance on phones is nearly impossible. They carry less and less in the store and continue to charge a start up fee when I have been a customer for so long. Recently, my phone broke and a new one had to be mailed to me overnight. Well I did not receive the phone until the following Monday. Three days later might I add. The insurance plan that I paid $100 bucks for is pointless when I can only get the same phone I had and had to pay $50. What is the point of insurance? When you call in to the call center you do not get someone that can speak English. It is very frustrating to deal with a company that is money hungry and not worried about the customers. The 4G service they provide is terrible. I have more dropped calls than ever before and half the time it does not work. If you get off a main interstate the phone does not work. More towers are needed if this company wants to continue to survive. It seems once they got bigger the coverage got smaller. They did rent Version towers and Version cut them loose. What does that say???

We have just completed 1 year with Cellular South now Cspire, we have 3 LG Samba phones, touch screen, after about 2 months we had to return 2 for touch screen issues, December 26 the third one would not allow you to access anything through touch screen. After countless time on the phone with tech and reps, the end result is, I am eligible for a new phone, will have to pay $80, and sign another contract, or buy the phone, cheapest am $119. I feel that the products they sell should at least last as long as the contract, it seems this is convenient for them. Do not buy this phone or expect them to resolve issue.

Cellular South is the way to go now with the economic crisis hanging over our heads. The Pay Advance plan that Cellular South offer is great. Pay Advance plan is a plan that is non contract, no credit check, unlimited talk and text all for low monthly fee of $50.00 that include tax. Now who would not want a plan like that. I have had this service now for seven months. I wish I had it before now. I have tried several different prepaid plans none can top Cellular South. I have had Virgin Mobile where the phones looks nice and cute and the minutes was great because was only using the phone when I was away from from home. The reception was poor. If I was in a store sometime I would receives calls or could make calls. If I was in a rural area I had no service. That is time when all the bars should be up but it wasn't The payment plan was not good either because I was paying almost $90.00 a month for one phone and it was prepaid. Let me tell you a little story with the Virgin Mobile Phone plan.I will never forget,I went to visit some relatives that stayed in a rural area.The area is rural where there is no street light at night and the darkness is so dark until if you held your hand out in front of your face you can not see your hand. Along with that you could not even see your shadow. Now do you believe me.We was in a rural of the rural area. My family and I was on our way back to town and our car had a flat tire. The children was sleeping in the car. My husband was driving and I myself was on the passenger side.We had only made it about three to four mile down the road from our relative house. I was so scared I reached for my phone and behold I had no signal. I was terrified. My husband said don't worry I will walk back and let them know and come back for you and the children. Now we all know that refused to let him leave me in the dark on the side of the road with my children. We waited about an hour and his mom pulled up beside us asking what was wrong. I said that I muwst find another prepaid service to reach in the rural areas. I thought about boost mobile and went the next week to get their phone. Boost Mobile was a little better with price for unlimited talk and text it was $60.00 dollars a month but there service was worst. I could be in my house and the call would drop. If I was out running errands. If i went into a store that had a lot of steel or metal building no signal. Wal- Mart is the main store we all like to shop in. Let me warn you. You will get know reception. If you like me also if you take the children along with you to the store you have to call one of them when you ready to go because you are in one area and they are in another. I as soon as possible decided o.k. enough is enough with throwing my money away or my I say flushing it down the toilet. Time are really had these day and we need to know that we are getting good quality service with our bucks. I was told about Cellular South from my dad we had a Cellular South phone. He told me that Cellular South has the best plan and service. I waited for a minute because I was use to people saying that there service was better than someone else. One day I decided to go and try it out. I have been with them now for seven months and loving ever minute and second having their plan. I went in and said that I wanted the pay advance plan. The gentleman ask what phone will you like. I said oh I get to choose my phone. He said Yes you do any phone is compatible with the pay advance plan.Just look at the number beside the non-contract or pay advance fee. I got a chance the phone I really wanted. I handed him the money and the phone was on before I walked out the store and I had all rights to Cellular South customer service as a paying contract person would have. I have unlimited talk, unlimited text,  camera phone, recorder for video and playback, plus I have a booth tooth connection with mp3 ready. all for $50.00 a month plus the cost of the phone that I had chosen. Unlimited talk and text  is the way to go today for $50.00. The service is great it pick up in rural areas along with I still get service in Wal-Mart and other stores.Please try the Cellular South Pay Advance it is the way to go today in the economic crisis. I am a parent. and Parent we know that children are something else with a cell phone. Children could really cost you with a cell phone bill. With the pay advance it is the way to go to solve the headache of the over talking their minutes or text over the minimal. You can not go wrong with a unlimited talk and text for teenagers and adults. Please try the Cellular South pay advance.

I love Cellular south! I have been with them for two or three years now. They were having one of their many online sales, so I got my LG 300 phone for free. They have alot of great deals where you can get many great phones for free or cheap. They have alot of great plans that are cheap too! I use to be with a prepaid phone provider and let me just say Cellular south is sooooo much better. The plan that I currently use has two hundred minutes and unlimited texting all for only twenty dollars a month. I was paying that every 3 weeks on my prepaid phone plan. Thats a really good deal in my opinion! I get really great reception almost everywhere, there are some spots where you dont get reception, but that is understandable. I sometimes have a hard time getting messages to send, but it doesnt happen too often. Overall, I think this is one of the greatest cell phone providers out there. I would reccommend them to anyone.

I started using Cellular South around two years ago. They were having an online sale, so I got my LG300 for free. Let me just say that I have not had one problem with them since I started using them. I get great reception pretty much anywhere, there are some spots where I do not get reception but that is understandable. They keep adding new towers everywhere so that is great. Im on a really cheap plan right now, I get 200 minutes and unlimited texting every month for only twenty bucks, a really good deal in my opinion! They have alot of other great plans to choose from too. They also have alot of great phones to choose from. The only bad things are that some of the workers in the Cellular south closest to where I live can be a little snoody and rude. I also have trouble getting messages to send sometime, even when I have service. Overall though I am very pleased with this company and Im planning on staying with them for a long time.

I switched to Cellular south when I got my Hero phone (i've reviewed that also) And was quickly impressed with the quality of service as well as the fair billing procedures. The billing plan for unlimited everything for my android phone was 60 dollars a month, not bad. I did drop it to the 40 dollar 500 minute unlimited data plan for financial reasons. I went on a business trip to michigan and didn't have any trouble making phonecalls and 3g was avaliable, so i'm pretty happy with the choice of switching from ATT wireless. (i'm about to review them also, not as high of a praise) I've upgraded my hero since then (watch for another review shortly) but I'm not going to swap providers, Cell south has been very good to me and I've done my part in letting everyone know it. Times are a little tough financially and it's good to see a cheap alternative to a smart phone plan unlike the other major competitors.

I have had service with multiple providers over the past 20 years and I have found that for my money,  Cellular South has the best service and products, for my hard earned money.  I stay on the road a lot and use it to contact my family, monitor my store,  and keep my business up to speed; without sacrificing service and coverage.  Another good thing I love about Cellular SOuth is that when they quote a figure for a service, my bill reflects exactly what they told me.  That means one less thing for me to have to worry about, and I like that.

I've had Cellular South for 6 years and had no problems until now but that's only because I never had phone problems with my no frill phones. Their customer service is laughable.  Every time, I mean every time I call the person does not know what they are doing.  I spent an hour (yes and hour) on the phone with them one day and was constantly placed on hold so that the person could go read the manual and then instruct me. So, finally got frustrated and said good-bye.  Dialed them again.  Got a new person and the same thing happened on this person told me to do something completely different. Every time there is a problem with your phone, then you'll get many many different answers about how to fix. Finally, I was told my 2 people to send the phone in under warranty it was not repairable.  So I did. They did not send me a NEW phone, but a USED phone.  Note, I sent them a new phone less than 40 days old.   The buttons look wierd on the used phone. Then they sent me a text and  said they cannot duplicate the problem and that my NEW phone is not covered under warrranty and so they are going to charge me $60.00 for the crabby used phone they sent me. So, when you talk to them on the phone, they've got the nice down pat, but they (1) don't know  what they are doing (2)  Won't switch you to a tech that does know something about the phone (3) when you file a warranty claim expect to be CHEATED (4) Don't expect anyone with any intelligence to help you (4) Expect to be robbed whenever they can and they will RUN - RUN as fast as you can AWAY from Cellular South. What they are doing is FRAUD!!!!
