I bought this cookie cutter for Yule because in my religion our Star Child is born on Yule. I thought having star cookies would be a fun festive way to celebrate my Sabbath. I love how comfortable the grip is on this cookie cutter. No matter how much dough gets on my hands, this cookie cutter never slips out of my grip. The image transfers very easily because the dough does not stick to the cookie cutter. I love the Wilton Comfort Grip Star Cookie Cutter and plan to go buy more from this company because of the great quality of this product. Ease of Cleaning This is very easy to clean. My kids can even clean this and not miss any spots. Durability I have not had any issues with this product having inferior quality. I have dropped it several times and it has not damaged it at all. Design I love the star shape and because it is larger than other cookie cutters I can make big cookies with this cookie cutter.

Wilton makes great products and their Comfort Grip Star Cookie Cutter is no exception. I love the soft, rubbery grip. It is comfortable and does not feel sharp. I can easily press my hand over it to make my cutouts. I also like that it is easy to clean. I like the fact that they are strong and able to cut through a variety of thickness. They can cut cookies, cut through cakes, fudge, Jell-O, clay, and more. The cookie cutter is easily removed from the surface that it is cutting into or through. Durability I use Wilton cookie cutters like this all of the time. They last forever.

JoAnn Fabrics was having a sale one day and my daughter and I who love to bake together saw the Wilton Comfort Grip Cookie Cutters. We purchased a few of them, one of which was the Star shape. These cookie cutters are really nice to use. The top has a nice cushioning on it which allows you to press the top of the cutter with the flat of your hand and get even pressure on the cutter, making for a nice cut cookie. We use them to make cookies, cut bread slices and make fun sandwiches, and for making pie crust shapes. Either we bad them with honey and cinnamon on them, or we use two layers and put some jelly or pie filling in the middle, poke a hole in them and bake. Because it is hard to seal the edges well all around the star shape, we don't do that too often. We have even used this to trace star shapes for a patriotic project we were needing stars for! Ease of Cleaning The points of the star shape of these cookie cutters often get dough jammed in them and are not overly easy to clean. I find that a soak in nice hot soapy water gets them pretty clean if you rinse pretty soon and don't let them soak too long. You can throw them in the dishwasher, but I don't feel comfortable with that, as I feel that would lessen the life of the cushioning, so I hand wash it. Durability As long as these are hand washed, I see them lasting quite a while beyond the few years we have used them so far. They should be kept dry, however, just to guard against discoloration or rust spots. Design I love the cushioning on these cookie cutters. They are easy to use, great to apply even pressure and nice to look at too. The cushioning makes them a bit bulkier to store, but the pay off is worth it.

Wilton Comfort Grip Star Cookie Cutter I love to bake and as my love for baking has grown, so has my love for Wilton products. They are absolutely the best, in my opinion. Wilton products are widely available in a lot of stores. My favorite places to find them are Michaels, Hobby Lobby and even Walmart! Wilton makes a large variety of stainless steel cookie cutters with the comfort grip handle.  The cutters are deep enough to allow you to cut things like sandwiches for kids lunches. Perfect! My daughter loves opening her lunch box and seeing a fun-shaped sandwich. We also love to use these for play-doh! There are many, many uses for these cookies cutters. The comfort grip handle makes it very easy for little kids to use. I have a five-year old and she has no problem using these. Another aspect of these cookie cutters that I love is that fact that they are dishwasher safe. It's often a pain to clean pesky cookie dough out of cookie cutters, which brings me to the only flaw of this cutter, the points of the star are sometimes difficult to clean...but you know what? Just throw it in the dishwasher!
