I give Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Dinner Kit Ultimate Cheeseburger Mac a 6. It is edible and tastes pretty good. My issue is that there is too much cheese. It is very runny and gooey and really overpowers the taste of the dinner itself. All you taste is cheese. I think they go overboard on the cheese. I guess they give it so much cheese so that you know it's from Velveeta. They need to stick to macaroni and cheese.

I picked up several boxed of the Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Cheeseburger Mac because they looked like they would be quick and easy to make for dinner after a day of working and running errands. They are reasonably priced as well, so I figured it was worth a chance. And I wasn't let down. They have everything you need in the box besides the meat, and I've found that in a pinch you can make it without the meat, and have just the noodles. They are easy to prepare, don't have a long cook time and are good quality for the price. I was worried that they wouldn't taste as good as they were advertised to, but I was pleasantly surprised with the overall taste and quality of the ingredients.

If you like Hamburger Helper you will love the Cheesy Skillets! It is a quick and easy meal that you can prepare for the family in about half an hour without hassle. It tastes just like hamburger helper, only with much more pizzazz thanks to the delicious Velveeta cheese sauce that comes with it. Open the box and everything that you need to make the meal is before you. Add salt and peeper to taste, as well as ground beef and a delicious meal is on the horizon. The Cheesy Skillets require just one pan to complete the meal and it makes so much food. The meal is really filling. Even in a house with 4 boys there is always enough for seconds if they are wanted. Add a roll or slice of bread and you have a meal fit for you and the family! Cheesy Skillets costs just a little bit more than a box of HH, but it really tastes great and makes for an easy meal you can easily create any night of the week. what is not to love about that?

I had to try out the New Velveeta Cheesy Skillets this weekend. I Love Velveeta products and figured this would be really good. I do have to say that I really like Hamburger Helper better then this. It was just OK. I was able to eat it but It didn't remind me anything about Velveeta. It did not have the rich cheesy taste like Velveeta Cheese. It would have been better if it had the rich creamy cheese like the block of cheese. I would say that i will not be buying this product any more. My kids did seem to eat it ok but the adults were not to thrilled. Also the cheese was like a very bright color . Like a Neon Yellow Orange. It was weird looking.

The Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Ultimate Cheeseburger Mac was not as good as anticipated. It have as overwhelming dill seasoning flavor. I personally do not like that part, so I suggest if you do not like that either then to add a very small amount of the flavoring seasoning that comes with the box. Other than that, it consists of one pound of ground beef & elbow macaroni. Minus the dill flavor, it tastes great.

This is a great new helper for hamburger dishes, several varieties to choose from, our favorite one is the ultimate cheeseburger mac. Don't have to worry if you don't have milk cause you don't need it to mix this dish up, all you add is the hamburger and the ingredients in the box to mix this great dish up. It's quick and easy. It's got to be giving hamburger helper some tough competition, cause with HH you have to have milk, not with Velveeta, and it has that great Velveeta cheese in it. Love the taste of Velveeta cheese, this is great for those nights you want something quick for dinner and easy. All my step-grand kids came over this evening after school, and all 6 kids and 4 adults went to the national park next door we live next to and went hiking, we got back to the house about a quarter till 8 and with all being hungry and tired and impatient, we put on 4 boxes of it along with 2 cans of biscuits and all was happy, they ate every bite of it. I figured we'd have leftovers making so much, but no worries with this crew, they loved it to. I had to drag out one of my biggest kettles to make it all in, but it satisfied all. Everyone ate and then they had to get ready to go home, as a couple of them had homework to do. It is a school night, so we are planning it again, only we all want to go on the weekend, guess I'll have to go get some more Velveeta cheesy skillet boxes, cause when you hike some miles with a group of young teens and tweens believe me, you'll be wore out before them, and this sure made coming home to cook and it late so much easier for this crew tonight. Thank you Velveeta, you helped make it an ending to an enjoyable evening. And with not having to have milk in the dish, the gallon and a half+ I had in the fridge got to be drank with our meal. I wasn't planning for them to come out, they surprised us, luckily I had plenty of Velveeta cheesy boxes in the cabinet and had 4 of the ultimate cheeseburger mac, so I went with that one. Very good Velveeta, very good.

I very rarely buy "meals in a box" things, but for some reason (okay, the hunky guy in the commercial) I changed my mind just this once and decided to try it. I use Velveeta slices all the time for grilled cheese sandwiches and cheeseburgers; I also like Velveeta's Cheese and Shells boxed pasta, so I expected at least something worth the 20-minute effort it took to prepare this. When I was a teenager, my mother would prepare Hamburger Helper at least twice a week, mainly because it was quick and inexpensive. With five kids to feed, it fit the family budget. Since "growing up and moving on", I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've actually made Hamburger Helper in my own kitchen -- and I'm 53. This stuff is like Hamburger Helper minus the good things about Hamburger Helper -- and I don't have a whole lot of fond memories about Hamburger Helper.I used freshly ground chuck instead of ground beef, so maybe that was my mistake, but even with the addition of a "seasoning" packet, the stuff still tasted bland. Not even the Velveeta cheese sauce did much for it.

This was a sticky, yucky mess for dinner. My kids thought the pasta looked like and tasted like plastic. i think it was too cheesy and sticky. It was easy enough to make, but not worth the time for the gross outcome.
