I have a terrible old mattress, and cronic back problems.  Been having trouble falling asleep.  This is a comfortable, reasonable alternative to dropping big bucks on a new mattress.  My first night I was in bed and could not believe that I was not in pain.  Only down side, if you are heavier you really do sink.  My husband causes a "subduction zone" but he says he does not bother him.

I was very fortunate to have found this one sale on Overstock.com. We've had our mattress for a number of years and even though we've flipped it, it's completely useless. Causes back pain, leaves us completely sore. A friend suggested we buy a mattress topper instead of buying a new mattress. Decided to go ahead and try one given the price difference between a new mattress versus a mattress topper. I'm so glad we bough the topper. It really does conform to your body, allowing you to be comfortable in any position you choose to sleep. Our mattress has a deepeneded groove where we sleep and the topper has managed to eliminate the pain caused by the groove. It does get quite warm, it's expected though as it is foam, but it helps with the cold Midwestern winters. I do hate having to buy more expensive deep pocket sheets but the trade off is completely worth it. I suffer from back pain and it has helped alleviate them. Definitely recommended.

**Overstock Memory Foam 4 inch Mattress Topper actually provided me with a much better night sleep as my mattress is a few years older than i would like it to be. I decided to try these memory foam mattress toppers since I heard good things about it. I must say, my sleep was better. I woke up feeling mcuh more rested. It was a different sleep that is for sure. It takes a little getting use to the first few days because you kind of cannot move as easily on the topper as on regular mattress. The biggest con is that there is a horrible smell. They say it needs to be aired out, which I did prior to using but it still smells after two weeks. It has dissapated somewhat but still there. what I am concerned about is that the foam will loose its shape after awhile. It  has not yet but this is one thing I cannot tell yet.  Also been told that the thicker the topper, the better. I got the 4 inch one which is right in the middle. And to be honest, i already feel it is a little too 'deep' but this may just be my preference. I cannot imagine a  6 inch topper. **

For the price, the overall value is quite nice. It is hard to compete with those matresses out there that do such a good job that nothign can thouch them. There seems to be a problem with the sizing though. It doesnt quite fit in well with the rest of the sheets and everything that I am trying to use it with. Also, on summers nights the mattress seems to get way too hot during the night. It could breathe better and would allow it to be more comfprtable, though when you are trying to keep warm I could see where this would keep you chilled. But as I said before, this is not a bad product and is quite comfortable for the most part.

I bought three of these as gifts for my kids for Christmas. My daughter has Scoliosis. My son's just needed a new bed.. Instead I bought them all the 4" memory foam topper. They LOVE them. My daughter's back feels so much better. My son's are sleeping so good they don't want to get up! I would recommend this to anyone who might be thinking of buying a new bed. Top it instead.. and buy the cover for the memory foam topper. It's compliments the memory foam topper, keeps it clean and keeps it cool in the summer. It's a must have too. Enjoy..

I purchased the memory foam topper to help out my back. When i first put it on the smell was not very pleasent but it did feel better than my wire spring mattress. One of the only problems i really have with it is that only one person should use it... it there are two people, be prepared to feel everything

I purchased a 4"h. mattress topper, from Overstock, and it seemed like a good idea.  I weigh 200lbs, and my butt area seems to sink the most.  Almost like the memory foam needs to be more reseliant.  I got the cool memeory foam since I'm in Souther CA.  So that might be one issue, since its suppose to allow air to move around better.  Legs and arms I'm satisfied.  I'm keeping it though, since its would cost so much to ship back.  Its around 50-60 lbs. for a CA King.I've been using it for two weeks, so this weekend I plan to remove the sheets and turn it around.Also let it air out, before putting your sheets on.  I put a mattress protector over it, so I'm going to try it without and see what that is like.I do like it better with it than without.  So another reason to keep.  I might try doubling it, and see what happens.  A quick nap.

I bought this product a year ago after suffering from back pain every night.  The very       first time I slept on this mattress topper I felt the difference.  I actually looked forward to going to bed every night instead of dreading it.  It is heavenly.  My back pain is gone and I feel great.  I would recommend this to everyone.

The 4 inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper from Overstock is as advertised.  My husband loves it and really has had less problems with his back since we started using it.  I did not get the same relief and because it retains so much heat, I get too warm at night and end up needing to throw off the blankets for a while.  I was hoping that it would help me sleep better with less tossing and turning, but that didn't happen.  It did help relieve pressure on my hip and lower back though, so I feel better when I wake up.  It is heavy, which is good since it stays in place, but it makes it more difficult to change the sheets, especially when you already have a Cal-King mattress. So in the end this is a mixed review.  My husband really loves it and I think it is just okay.  I still miss my waterbed!
