If you want to know how to work a computer, ask a kid!  :)  Well, the kid I asked recommended the Toshiba L505 for what I needed.  I spend a lot of time on email, Facebook, and general searching.  I also take an online class.  This laptop has provided everything I've needed, and it's one of the fastest computers in our house.

Another thing I like about it is that it works well ergonomically.  I have a form of arthritis called Degenerative Disc Disease, and the notebook are too small for me.  The Toshiba L505 is the perfect size.
