Unique and fun designs

5

I love the concept of this site and how it supports small and lesser known artists and designers. It is fun that you can submit your own designs and that they have the "design challenges" to get even more new and creative ideas. You can get shirts, posters and even iphone cases! I like that they now have hoodies available as that is my usual go to apparel item. Prices are a bit high ($20 or more for tee shirts and $40 or more for hoodies) but that isn't unreasonable since you are supporting artists. Some of my favorite designs are the french ninja cat which plays on a classic french ad campign poster I actually have hanging in my house and the "onnomnomnomivore" design with the different dinosaurs. I like that they carry larger sizes, even in the female styles. Another feature I really like is that they tell you how many of each item is left in stock. If gives you a sense of how urgently you need to make your purchase. It is also fun that people can leave comments on the designs. Every time I wear a shirt from this site I get a lot of compliments and laughs. If you are looking for a creative and unique Ease of Use It is extremely easy to use this site and find exactly what you are looking for (and to find things you never knew you needed until you saw them on this site). You can search by style, size, theme and whether it is for a guy, girl. kid etc. Product Selection This site is unmatched in unique designs. Product Pricing Prices are a mixed bag. There are plenty of items under $20, but there are some shirts that sell for $25+ for a basic teeshirt. It all depends on how long it has been on the site and how popular it is.

Great website with lots of options

Threadless has so many great t shirt designs and they are always adding more. I think the t shirts are of good quality. I think it's a good place to go gift shopping because you can probably find designs that appeal to a large number of different interests. I normally don't buy the shirts at full price, they often go on sale for as low as ten dollars. I think the other products like the iphone cases and hoodies are a little too pricy, but the shirt prices aren't bad. Sometimes awesome designs run out of stock but you can request a reprint.

I highly look forward to the sales

I have to admit, this site interested me a lot more back when I was a teenager and was into the novelty t-shirts faze.. however, I still find myself shopping here every now and then or even just browsing and I always find something that I really really want to buy. Prices.. they aren't bad. Around $12-20 for a shirt is not really what I want to pay, but I know a lot of my friends who do. I tend to wait out my buys for the sales they offer pretty regularly ($10 tees, etc) and then I stock up on the shirts I've been dreaming about. I've never had an issue with my clothes not arriving or anything like that and have even scored some shirts for $5 on clearance. Threadless is slowly expanding and offering even cooler versions of their shirts like long sleeved, boatnecks, etc. and also selling dresses and hoodies.. it is really nice when I check on the site every couple of months to see how much more they are offering and I forsee them continuing their success for a long time.

Threadless.com - Fun, Unique Shirts for Kids and Babies

4

My grown-up, professional lifestyle no longer allows me to have and wear a wardrobe full of these clever t-shirts, but I still like to browse the site. Luckily I have a bunch of nieces and nephews who don't need to adhere to a buttoned-down dress code. Threadless.com also sells art prints of their designs, so I can put my favorites on the wall instead of my body. Threadless.com isn't as "edgy" as it used to be, but that's just because its popularity has grown by leaps and bounds in the past 5 years, and everyone knows who they are. Still, you can always find new designs, and I love the fact that they are a company that works in conjunction with artists and that encourages creativity. The designs are innovative, and you won't find a lot of the crass "college humor" that you might find on other sites. If you're tired of pastel bears, monkeys, and bunnies, there are great graphic designs on onesies for babies. There are often coupons for free shipping, and $10 t-shirt deals. Browse the site. Order something. You'll be happy.

In 2007, I bought my first Threadless shirt...and never stopped

4

I've always enjoyed expressing myself by wearing graphic tees. My friend introduced me to Threadless in the mid-2000s, but I didn't buy right away due to the cost. Shirts tended to be around $18 normally, which was too much for me, especially after the cost of shipping. As Threadless' $10-or-less sales became more commonplace and as the shirts became more and more mainstream, I started to buy them, too. I realized recently that the majority of my t-shirts (90%) are from Threadless. It's more than I would like, but when I see great designs, it's hard to argue with buying more. That said, over the last three years or so, the designs have shifted to become more abstract and complicated, so they are no longer quite the same draw as they were before. As with any online clothing retailer, ending up with clothing that doesn't quite fit as expected is a problem (even if you always wear the same size, the shirts are sometimes in different styles/necklines and have been printed on different brands on t-shirts over the years). I prefer the old Threadless site more -- I find the current colors difficult to look at -- and I miss the ability to earn Street Team points toward Threadless products. It was part of the fun of the community to participate, vote on designs, and chat with fellow t-shirt lovers. I also wish Threadless would introduce a "favoriting" function to allow shoppers a quick way to add their favorite designs to a gallery -- both for showing off to other community members, as well as to keep the shirts handy for future purchases. I would buy more frequently if I could have a ready list of favorites waiting for me (obviously they might be out of stock), instead of having to waste hours searching every time I have money to burn.

One of a kind t-shirts

5

I was first introduced to Threadless by my sister who got me one of their t-shirts for my birthday. I have since gotten myself more t-shirts, as well as gifts for some of my friends. I love their originality and that you can't find them anywhere else. I know that I won't be wearing the same shirt as anyone else, and the my friends won't end up with two of the same shirt. Ordering from their website has always been fast and easy, though sometimes if you wait too long, they will sell out of a specific shirt. Shipping is always reliable, and the package always arrives within the estimated time frame. This is my go to site when I am looking for something different and a little quirky. I always get tons of compliments when I wear out one of my Threadless tees, and many people want to know where I got it. I highly recommend Threadless. Even if you are not looking to buy a shirt, it is fun to browse their selection of shirts and get a laugh or two.

Love this shop for interesting t's for my husband

4

I have really liked threadless for a few years now. It's a pretty fantastic concept- you can submit a t-shirt design, people vote on it, and you get paid if it gets printed. I love getting my husband a couple of t-shirts from threadless every Christmas. That being said, I do agree with a previous reviewer. The shirts used to have a really wide variety of designs, and I feel like they have started to find a "style," which really isn't a great thing for a site like this. It's so much better if there are a whole lot of different shirts/styles/designs to choose from. None the less, if you can catch a $10 tee sale, do it. Oh- and you can purchase baby and kids tees now too, though they are significantly overpriced in my opinion. Overall, it's definitely worth a look. You might find something that you just absolutely love, and since the shirts are printed in limited runs, you'll end up with a shirt that not many people have, which is nice. It's a cool shop with an original concept, but it has lost a little bit of it's variety. Oh- and the shirts tend to run a tad small, in my opinion, so keep that in mind when you are buying.

Great for quirky unexpected gifts

4

Awhile back I was given a gift card for Threadless. Up until that point I had never heard of it even though the company is from Chicago, has a couple of stores , and even has a warehouse there. Oh and did I mention I have lived in Chicago all my life? So after receiving my gift card I checked the website out and I loved it. Anyone can submit t-shirt designs. The designs are voted on and the winner goes to press. I love that it gives unknown artists a chance to display their work in a whole new way. I also love that the public votes on it. I think the whole concept is really cool. The website itself is set up nicely and really easy to navigate. They have photos of all the clothing and the models are just normal people. They're not fancy or flashy. The focus is all about the print and the way it looks when it is worn. I love this. You can narrow down your search to size, color, price, etc. They have a wide range of prices, some things as low as $8. So there is definitely something for everyone. Whenever a friend's birthday or big event is coming up I always browse through here. Sometimes I find things that catch my eye, sometimes I don't. Either way it's fun and all the friend's I have given shirts too have gotten a kick out of them. The designs are creative, quirky, and some funny. Great site and great concept.

Unique Website, Great Clothes, Awesome Customer Service!

5

I have always enjoyed ordering from Threadless. The shipping tends to be fast and they have always included little extras with the order- little Threadless stickers! The website is fun to interact with, you get to "score" designs to "vote" on what will be printed next. They run a LOT of sales and have great deals, especially around holidays and on certain types of shirts. Their sizes are decent (as in, if you are a woman who wears a size large, "large" is actually a LARGE size and not a tiny shirt just labelled "large") and the material of the shirts is very comfortable. Customer service for the website has always been prompt and very friendly. Another nice feature they have is that you can be on their "street team," encouraging your friends & family & others to buy from the site. When they do, you get credit dollars added to your account to use on your next order. I have always liked that feature over the years!

Amazing Creativity But Expensive Now!

4

I used to spend my monthly allowance purchasing and stocking up on t-shirts because these were highly unique and they completely make you stand out. Now several years later, the designs are just as good if not better. However, the price seems to be more expensive than what I am used to. Before the prices were $10 each for most tees, but now because of the growing popularity, they now cost $19.99 each. No longer a cheaper alternative for tees. But, the quality of the tees are excellent and the printed designs are able to retain the clarity and resolution after many washes. Shipping is fast, but however you would have to pay for your own shipping costs. You are able to rate the designs yourself and able to provide some feedback. You also get the option of choosing the various colors that you want the design printed on. So there are some ways for you to have an extra customization of your design.
