Absolutely amazing! I was warned not to get a Compaq or Dell. The Sony VAIO's keys are sexy the layout of it is amazing, on top of the shortcut buttons located by the start button. The main attraction: the speaker! My boyfriend has an Asus and the speakers are below the computer and you can barely hear anything when you play music, but my speakers are like portable speakers, blazing loud and clear. If you're interested in hoping online, using Microsoft Word, and treating your computer to music and movies on occasion, this laptop is for you!!! I fell in love with this laptop and take it with me every time I go to one of my college courses! With Windows Vista, you might want to run for the hills and find Windows 7 because apparently Windows Vista will make anything suck big balls. When I got Windows 7 paired with the Sony VAIO I nearly died. The quality is outstanding! Totally worth it if you're willing to pay for quality!!!

Sometimes we need to do something, sometimes we need most efficence, we need more time, we need make a lot things in a one step, sometimes we don´t have a chance to do everythins, but now is most quickly, is most easy, is just vaio, the personal computer never will be the same, never we gonna remember the latest times, uuuhhhmmm maybe yes, but it will be only a memory about our past, because now the computers are so differnts and cheaper. If we need something special almost all companies make our personal computer, like sony vaio. Is really important to know what we need, to know what we want, because sometimes we don't know anything about this, and then the computer is not the thing that we want, and is not the fault of te computer, actually is our fault. If we need a business computer, we need mor RAM, more hard drive, more graphics, ok it is only if we are designer or something like that, but if we only need a computer to gift to our kids, we don't need a lot, just check this out, and then make your best choice, for me VAIO is the bes in performance.

The Sony VAIO laptop I bought was in 2006. It worked pretty good the first year or two. I could actual do my gaming just fine on it for a while and my graphics didn't have to be set extremely low either. After those first couple years though, it just stopped working as great. If you do gaming on it, you can't really move too much and you lag out constantly. Other than that, the internet loads rather slow, it's kind of dissapointing. I suppose it is still working rather tremendously since it is a Notebook computer. It's also started falling apart. The keyboard started falling apart, so we got a new one and it's already broken again. I got it checked and fixed a couple months ago and it's already breaking again. I'm sure I could've found a much better laptop for a little more money, but if you are looking for a laptop just for taking notes in school or something along those lines, this could be an amazing system.

I just got this computer about a month ago and I really LOVE IT! I have had a bout 3 laptops within the last 6 years and I like this one the best so far. It has everything I want in a laptop and it is fast! The one thing that took some gettin use to was the screen. It's a little hard to describe, but it just looks dim all the time. Excellent quality sceen, just seems dim compared to my last laptop. I would recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a GREAT laptop. Has lots of good features!

Computer is absolutely amazing. High speed, beautiful aesthetics and built to last. It has many user friendly programs, such as VAIO Care and is free and easy to restore if nessecary. It may get a little pricey, but if you want a computer thats a pc then this is the best way to go. The movement pad is amazing, it is very responsive and has a textured feeling for comfort and effectiveness to overall usage. the keyboard is amazing as well, it feels like a Mac's! I strongly recommend this computer!
