I've had this computer for a while now and haven't had many issues with it at all. It can be slow, it isn't very loud, and the mouse track pad is very rough, but it hasn't given me any issues as far as it not working properly, messing up, or freezing. Ease of Use This computer is fairly easy to use, if you're the least bit knowledgeable on computers you shouldn't have any issue trying to operate this one. It doesn't have a lot of high-tech features that make it difficult to use, but if you're looking for something that is high-tech with a lot of things this isn't the computer for you; for everyday general use this computer is perfect. I have never needed to do anything with using it for school, and entertainment that it wasn't able to do. Battery Life Has a pretty good battery life, gives warnings when the battery is getting low that gives you enough time to get the charger if it isn't nearby. Support & Service I haven't ever had to contact Sony for any kind of support or service related to this particular computer, however there are many features I see built in on the computer for support options so I imagine it wouldn't be very difficult to do. Speed/Performance It's your general computer, if you aren't use to using an extremely fast computer than you won't notice any issues with this one as far as speed is concerned. Every now and then it can run a little slow, but nothing major. Design I love everything about this computer's design other than the mouse track pad. This is something I have been unhappy with since day one. It is very rough, I describe it as a 'cats-tongue' and can be very uncomfortable if you are scrolling a lot. The mouse also has a tendency to jump around a lot. The speakers on this computer are also not very good, even with the volume turned all the way up it is not very loud. Durability I have not had any issue with the computer durability or the power cords durability. I usually am very careful with it, but after having it for a couple years there isn't any noticeable damage on it.

I purchased for over 500 on amazon and laptop keyboard stopped working after three months. Ease of Use It is very easy to use, but the keyboard is really sensitive to the touch. Battery Life The battery does last a long time. Support & Service I called support one time and they seemed helpful but could not resolve my issues with laptop. Speed/Performance It was a very quick laptop. Design I bought this laptop because of its design, it is very attractive. Durability I would recommend if you do buy it, buy from the direct manufacturer with a warranty.

This computer, designed by Sony Corporation in Japan, and made in China, is an excellent 15.5" laptop. It is a little larger than what most people would like to carry around conveniently, but if you have the muscles, and/or don't mind the extra bulk, this thing is packed chock full of features. Ease of Use There is a full-sized keyboard (with a number keybad) to the right of the conventional laptop keyboard. This makes number-crunching and data entry easier. Battery Life Battery life for a laptop of this size is sufficient, but I wish the standard battery came with a little more juice to make it last longer than 3-and-a-half hours. Support & Service Sony Support, while heavily accented, is pretty excellent, in terms of its merit. They have always strived to provide me with either a repair or replacement parts when something goes wrong. Speed/Performance Very zippy! Design Sleek design and very aesthetically pleasing to look at. The keyboard is also backlit, which is a nice touch for when you're trying to do some typing done at night when your spouse is already asleep. Durability Ideally, this thing would be made of carbon fiber instead of plastic, but for the price, you definitely can't complain!

Laptop had terrible volume (my phone is louder), trackpad rarely works and skips all over the place and battery life is horrendous. Ease of Use Easy to navigate and use. Windows 7 installed and having split screen makes work easier. Battery Life Battery is still going, probably because it only lasts about 20 minutes off the charger. After a year, battery life still registers as "in good health" Support & Service Have not had to call for service. Speed/Performance Laptop is not horribly slow but not impressive either. Performance of speakers leaves much to be desired. My cell phone has a louder volume. Nearly impossible to watch any kind of video on it unless you are in complete silence and have excellent hearing. Design The trackpad is offset making it difficult to switch back and forth between it and standard laptops. If any pressure is placed on the left side of the laptop while typing, the mouse jumps sporadically around the page. Durability It's still kicking but it's only been 1 year so we will see.

I have been well pleased with my Sony Vaio. I really enjoy all the features and the durability of this computer. It works very fast and the processer never runs hot. Ease of Use The touchpad on this computer is very user friendly. The touch pad itself is very easy to use. Battery Life The stand alone battery use on this computer is about 4 hours. Support & Service I have never had to use any service on my computer because I think my computer is awesome. Speed/Performance This computer runs blazing fast. Design This is a very sleek and sexy design. Durability This computer can take a licking and it just keeps on ticking.

Let me start off my saying I am not technology savvy whatsoever, so this review will not be based on specs and all that jazz, just a point of view from an average user. I actually received this is a gift last Christmas. I was really surprised at how nice this looked, the screen was very bright compared to my last one, which had just died so this served as a replacement. and although I had the same internet speed, it runs a ton faster, even now compared to my old one, so it wasnt just because it was "new". downloads like a dream, and I haven't had any issues with storage space either. I like the fact that it has a dvd player built in, and I can copy disks, too. very, very easy to set up and maneuver, even for me. but the one thing I LOVE is that I have put this thing through terror. i am the clumsiest person ever, and I had dropped it so many times, even spilled soda in it, and you would have thought it was made specifically for me. very good computer all in all, I this is about my 5th laptop I believe and pretty sure it is my favorite.

I loved this laptop which my husband bought for me refurbished from Sony .When it came it looked like new with no scratches or marks.It was a good looking laptop with just the right weight and the screen was the most clear and bright I have ever seen.I loved the fact that it has a built in camera and microphone and has a hdmi port and usb ports .It did everything I do better than my two old laptops and I was overjoyed. The processor is fast there is no lagging or freezing. But as it was refurbished it came with only 90 days warranty and we did not buy extra warranty trusting in Sony quality. Well fast forward six months and the screen just died on us. One day I turned it ON and screen was dead.It boots up and works fine when attached to an external monitor but screen is dead. I will take it to a repair shop but needless to say I am disappointed. I will advise you to alwaays buy a new one.

I'm sitting here writing this review from my Sony VAIO VGN-NW345G/B laptop. This is hands down the best laptop I've ever owned. I love the size of the 15.5" screen. I find that it isn't overly large but big enough. The screen is very clear and bright. The laptop has a built in mic and camera but the camera is somewhat grainy. The mic pics up sound with ease. The laptop is slightly heavy which I don't mind. It seems like it is built well. It is an energy star rated product and holds a charge for several day with moderate use. I've never had any issues with it freezing up ever. The mouse is easy to use and not overly sensitive. I use this for both work and home use and have found that it is very durable since I bring it around with me daily. The outside has thes grooves instead of being smooth so you can grip it much better. It is a great laptop at a great price. Ease of Use It is very user friendly and would be great as a work computer or for a first time user. Battery Life I can go days without charging Support & Service I've never had to contact sony because it has never had any issues. Speed/Performance I can have several applicatoins going at the same time and is never freezes up or slows down. Design I love the size of the screen and the built in mic and camera. Durability It is very durable and the textured boby helps with grip.

I have had this laptop for 3 years. Worked well for me when it came to school, but after all the abuse I have given it; it finally gave up. Plastic case started breaking, wifi switch broke, HDD needs replacement. I just replaced the internal wifi chip. Overall, good laptop for schoolwork and maybe some movies. Gaming-wise, choose a different laptop. Integrated graphics get you nowhere.

I love this laptop! This is the very best laptop I have ever owned! I saw it at Best buy when I was shopping around for a laptop and fell in love! It has alot of great features! I love how light it is! I am a college student and anything that makes life easier is for me! I love the size of the screen and the quality i've received! I love that it comes with windows 7, and that it's super fast! I love that it holds alot of storage. This is such a good quality item from Sony. Definitely a great brand with a great product! I definitely recommend this product especially for college students! This computer also has the best battery life! Battery Life The most amazingly long battery life!
