French Bread pizzas are surely the pan pizzas of the future. Red Baron does them perfectly with just the right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings to make it a great pie. The french bread crisps up very nicely and allows for a great mouthfeel. These pizzas are a favorite in my household.

These Red Baron French bread pizzas are amazing. They can be made quickly, and are perfect for kids. The thick crust and heavy toppings are just delicious. This is just my favorite kind of pizza. I would recommend these for a quick easy lunch, but not for a party setting. A regular pizza would obviously be better.

When I buy frozen pizza the crusts are always different, some of them definitely too soft for my liking. I love the crunchy, crispy texture of the crust on the Red Baron french bread pizza. I like the taste of the toppings though if they had a bit more cheese on them I'd like them even more. These are very filling and I make them mostly when I'm in a hurry and don't have time to make a meal for lunch. These keep me satisfied until dinner.

I've bought this on sale, and when it is one sale, it provides very quick and tasty meal taht everyone in the family will eat.  I like it better than frozen pizza because it's more doughy and cheesy and delicious.  The downside, of course, is that it's not really healthy. For my skinny kids, I like that they eat their entire dinner, that it does have some nutrional content, and that it is quick and easy.  For my husband and I, I prefer more healthy foods, but I don't always have the time.  Luckily, we exercise so we do not get fat.  The nutritional upsides are the protein, calcium and tomoto-based sauce (for lycopene), as well as complex carbs rather than sugar for the kids. The downsides are the processed ingredients, enriched flours, preservatives, "fake" cheese, and high fat/cholesterol content in comparison with home-made products that can use whole grain bread, natural cheese, and real tomato sauce with low sodium.

The Red Baron French Bread pizza that I made was Pepperoni and I cooked it by the directions on the box.  I cooked it in the microwave.  It came out DELICIOUS.  It was quick and perfect for an easy meal.  It was crispy on the outer edge and nice and chewy (and fully cooked) everywhere else.  It cooked evenly.  I normally am not a fan of microwave pizzas of any type.  But on a whim and with a coupon I thought I would try this.  It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! I will definitely be continuing to  buy these in the future!! On the con-side, these are absolutely filled with fat and calories.
