After such an enjoyable experience with the Vintners Blend Zinfandel (and reading that Libby is going to visit the winery), when I came across Ravenswood Vintners Blend Merlot I didn't hesitate to pick-up a bottle. — "No Wimpy Wines" is the slogan of Ravenswood Winery. This is a very good red wine for the price.  I highly recommend this when having a prime rib or steak. I have had many reds from WA and CA and also France.  This particular one is not too oaky and has an excellent finish.  I let it breathe for about 15 minutes.
