I am very impressed with this product yet it took me a little while to experiment with it and learn how to work it best with my hair. And I found out that it works best in the summer or hotter months when my hair tends to frizz with the heat, I have very thick hair. I love this best when I apply some serum or biosilk when my hair is wet and then dry it a little bit so it is just damp about 30% dry then I spray the sea salt spray from the bottom up so i don't get a lot on my roots and tousle it around and then use the diffuser and I really do get a beachy tousled look without having to curl or anything. My hair is wavy not real curly but not straight by any means, my daughters is very curly and i used it on her and WOW, amazing shine and curls, I sprayed it in her hair when it was damp and skipped the serum since her hair is not as thick as mine and then diffused it and her curls were perfect, shiny and bouncy and not matted and knotted and lasted all day, it really brought out the different tones of color in her hair with amazing shine, if my hair was naturally curlier like hers it would be even more amazing, but I still really enjoy the beachy wavy look, perfect for summer. The only negative or things to watch out for are I noticed and my hairdresser also told me that usually when you use this you are most likely going to want to wash your hair that night, so I wash mine every other and the same with my daughter and we get the best results when we blow dry it so that means we would have to wash it before we style it again the next day. I also noticed that this product like the hairspray works better alone it is almost too heavy if i try to use it with the whole line.
