Perfect for jars

5

The Pampered Chef Micro Scraper is the best spatula for removing the last pieces of food from a jar. This is small enough to fit through the mouth of jars like mayonnaise and peanut butter. This spatula is also very long, so it will fit into longer jars, although it may not fit too well into drawers! They are moderately priced, but they seem to last forever, so the price should not discourage you from buying it. The Micro Scraper is sturdy enough to put in the dishwasher. It has not melted at all throughout all the times I put it in the dishwasher. Ease of Cleaning This is easy to clean because I put it in the dishwasher. You can also wash it by hand if you would like, but the dishwasher is more convenient. Durability The micro scraper is very durable. I have used it to mix some things like brownies before I bake them. It is strong enough to go thru the dishwasher. Design The design of this is perfect for fitting into thinner container, which is normally a struggle. It also helps you get every last thing out of the container.

mini scraper for jars and more

Overall, the pampered chef micro scrapper is a great concept, but I have since replaced with another tool that I find more effective and easier to use. When this product was first demonstrated to me, I thought it was a great idea. How often do you struggle to get objects out the bottom or side of the jar, such as mayonnaise, jam etc? This micro scrapper provides a long handle and a soft silicon scrapper to assist with reaching difficult ingredients and removing them from teh container. My complaint is that the micro scrappper does not have a large surface area. Therefore, when you need to get a large amount out of a small jar; it feels like you are constantly reaching it to scrape a jar only to get a little bit out at a time. I have since replaced it with a scrapper that I feel solves this problem. Overall, this product does the job well, it is pricey. I would make sure you will use it often before investing in it. It is dishwasher safe, and it does clean fairly easily.

tiny scaper

So, I was taught to pinch pennies and that everything is good 'til the last drop. So, that is the reason I bought this spatula because I always want to scrap every last bit out of the can before I can officially throw it away. I do like this little guy. It has been helpful when trying to get the last goodness out of a bottle with a fairly narrow neck. I love almost any pampered Chef product because they are generally of good quality. However, with that name comes a price. The one con I would say about this scraper is that they are expensive. But, I guess you're paying for what you get--good quality, with a good brand and a good warranty. It also can be a little wiggly and hard to get a firm hold on because the handle is more round than square and flat like other Pampered Chef spatulas. But, overall, it does the job it was intended to do--it allows me to save some money-- and I'm happy with my purchase.

A handy micro scrapper!

Pampered Chef is known for their high quality products and their new micro scraper is no exception! I have all of Pampered Chef's regular spatulas so decided to expand my collection add this tiny scraper. This scraper is a great one for cleaning out jars - whether sticky peanut butter or the narrow jars of stubborn tomato paste. I love this spatula for the flexibility it gives me. The micro scraper allows me to get out every last bit of my food so I don't waste anything! Every once in awhile, I worry about this spatula being cut on the edge of the cans, but that is a fault of the cans not the scraper. This scraper is not for stirring large amounts or scrapping the big bowls of cookie dough (I use my other Pampered Chef scrapers for those!). This scraper is just right for the tiny jars and sauces. If you are a frugal cook who wants to use every ounce of your food product, you'll be glad to have this micro scraper on hand!

Micro scraper = handy in the kitchen!

I love Pampered Chef products and the micro scraper is another good product of theirs. I received the micro scraper with two more scrapers in a set. It is a very handy set and I use them instead of regular spatulas. The micro scaper out of these scrapers is the one that I use the least, but it is a handy device. It is very handy for scraping out salsa, mayonnaise, horseradish out of their containers. I probably wouldn't recommend buying this item if it did not come in a set like how I got it because I do not see this item as something that is useful on an every day basis. I think you could just use a knife or something similar. Sometimes people can buy things that they will think they will use on a regular basis and then it ends up not being used at all, I could see this as being one of those items. I seem to forget about it every time I go to empty a jar of mayonnaise, but I am going to try to remember to use it, because it is kind of handy!

Pampered Chef Micro Scraper - Excellent for the blender

4

I received my Pampered Chef Micro Scraper as a gift about a year ago, so I can't comment on the price. I love scrapers!  This one has proven to be excellent for scraping the last bits of food from my square blender!  It is advertised as being for salad dressing or sauce bottles.  It also works for cooking in a skillet or scraping bowls/plates/lids.  The silicone head is supposed to be heat-resistant up to 650F and the nylon handle up to 450F. This made-in-the-USA, white and maroon scraper is long and skinny.  It's about 1 foot long and about 1 inch wide at its widest point.  It can go in the dishwasher or be easily cleaned by hand.  There is no hole in the handle for hanging, but I keep mine spatula-side up in a kitchen utensil canister anyway. As with my other scraper, one of my concerns is that it will get cut by sharp metal, like the edges of a tin can. The packaging says that there is a "3 year guarantee for noncommercial use," but I don't have experience with that to comment.
