The Baker's Roller - Easier to Wield than a Rolling Pin

By

from Shawnee, OK

Comments about Pampered Chef Baker's Roller:

*Disclaimer: I sell Pampered Chef because I love it, rather than the other way around.*

I went a long time without any sort of rolling device whatsoever in my kitchen. And I suffered for it. My husband and I relied on our fingers or, in a pinch, glasses rolled on their sides, for spreading pizza dough and other baked goods. And we hated it.

Then I finally invested in The Pampered Chef's Baker's Roller, and life was shining once again. Ok, so maybe birds weren't singing out my window - at least not because of the Roller. But rolling dough was suddenly much easier. And even easier than using a rolling pin, because this ergonomic tool is one-handed - no more sweating over a circle of floured dough, just start from the center and roll, roll, roll.

I deducted a star only because I still don't quite understand the purpose of the smaller end - I suppose I don't make enough pies for that. And, as a result, I feel it's a little bulky (but not as much as a rolling pin!). But I do still recommend this nifty roller!

PERFECT STYLE FOR ME

By

from Red Oak, TX

Comments about Pampered Chef Baker's Roller:

The Pampered Chef Bakers Roller takes on a new twist to the old rolling pin. At first when I saw it I did not knwo if this style with just one hand would feel right in my hands like the old fashioned 2 handed rolling pin. I was wondering if I would be able to control the spreading of dough like I can with what I was used to. I found out that this style of rolling pin works out so much better for me. I like that you have your one hand ffree to either hold onto the surface you are working on or guide the dough or whatever you might need to be doing with that free hand. I thought that since it is not one long roller that maybe you would not be able to get a real smoothe surface but you are able to. I was impressed with how much control you have with putting the right amount of preasure on the dough. I found that I could much more easily control the shape that I was rolling out so I could make my perfect 9 inch circle for my pie crusts. I think that this is how every rolling pin should be designed.

Baker's Roller

By

from Shawnee, OK

Comments about Pampered Chef Baker's Roller:

This roller is so fun and so easy to use. I recently made sugar cookies with my niece and we pulled out this roller to roll out our dough. I love it's compact size and it's easy to turn capabilities making rolling out dough so easy. This product definitely beats the old-fashioned roller that used to take up so much room in my drawer. This product is also easy to clean. I love all PC products and the fact that they stand behind them.

Here's a story to prove it: I received a Large Round Stone from Pampered Chef as a gift and when I opened the box I found it to have a broken handle. After contacting a local Pampered Chef consultant she quickly submitted my complaint and I received another Large Stone in the mail the following week at no charge with no questions asked. What great customer service.

Definitely consider buying this or any other Pampered Chef product. Don't let the price scare you off. It is well worth it.

I still love my Pampered Chef Baker's Roller!

By

from Alexandria, OH

Comments about Pampered Chef Baker's Roller:

I have used my Pampered Chef Baker's Roller for a good 6 or 7 years now, and still love it - no regrets! Whatever price I paid was well worth it. We have a wooden roller, but the only one that uses it is my mother-in-law. The Pampered Chef roller is the perfect weight - it's so much easier to manage pie crust dough when you can easily lift and maneuver the tool as the dough requires. The smaller end has also been useful... it smooths out sides of the pie crust when you have to patch it up. Also, it works as a very impressive mallot. If I need to crush Ritz crackers, vanilla wafers, or graham crackers in a plastic bag, I reach for this roller. I can push harder on the rolling part if I'm feeling patient, or I can bang out my frustrations with either end for faster results. It cleans easily - and even works in the dish washer. The smaller tool has been nice for edging my pies. The tool is extremely durable, and still looks as good as it did the day I purchased it.

The Bakers Roller is a kitchen must have!

By

from Manchester, IA

Comments about Pampered Chef Baker's Roller:

I do a lot of baking and cooking from scratch, 90% of our food is homemade, from scratch, by me. I have a rolling pin, but sometimes something a little smaller is needed to get the job done. The Pampered Chef Baker's Roller is that just perfect tool which helps to roll things out which a rolling pin can not. I make our own homemade pizza each Friday night, and this roller has proven to be worth it's weight in gold when it comes to making homemade pizza crust. It rolls evenly and I can keep it continuously rolling so the crust doesn't "shrink" back down like it would when I had to use a rolling pin. This tool is also especially hand in dessert making when I have to make a graham or other crumb crust in the bottom of a pan. The roller works better than my fingers at evenly distributing the crust in the pan. I also like that it is double ended, with two different size of rollers so I can make it work in any size pan. This is a great kitchen tool that I will always make sure I have on hand!

The Pampered Chef Dual Sided Rolling Pin is Awesome

By

from Stockbridge, GA

Comments about Pampered Chef Baker's Roller:

My Mother-In-Law purchased a Pampered Chef Dual Sided Rolling Pin for me as a gift. I can not tell you the number of times I have reached for this when I was cooking. I use it to roll out homemade pizza dough, pie crusts, cookie dough, biscuit dough, etc. I love that it can be used both for smaller jobs and bigger ones due to the Dual rolling pin widths, and clean up is a snap because when I am done I simply pop it in the dishwasher or dishwater and it cleans beautifully.

Over 6 years and still working great!

By

from Collinsville, TX

Comments about Pampered Chef Baker's Roller:

The **Pampered Chef ****Baker's Roller** has served me over six years and it hasn't failed.  I still use it and its like brand new!  The fact that its small and easy to use is great and I can throw it in the dishwasher without any fear.  I have used tons of rolling pins and small rollers but I love how this one is medium and not huge or tiny and it offers me the choice between the med or small.

I have bought other **Pampered Chef **products and I love them all.  **Pampered Chef** is a great company and their reputaiton is worth the extra time and money.  The customer service I've recieved is also worth it and the fact that I can join and become a consultant is also inviting.

**Pampered Chef's ****Baker's Roller **is affordable too and I'm proud to buy any **Pampered Chef** products knowing I'll receive the highest quality product and customer service.

Thank you for the **Pampered Chef Food Chopper **and other great products!

A must for anyone who makes pizza dough from scratch!

By

from Rincon, GA

Comments about Pampered Chef Baker's Roller:

Dear Pampered Chef Baker’s Roller, where have you been all my life?  You are the most amazing kitchen tool!  Seriously, this rolling pin is phenomenal. I used to use a traditional rolling pin to roll out my pizza crusts on the counter, then I would try to transfer the fragile rolled-out dough onto the pizza pan; invariably the crust would get holes and lumps by the time I got it on the pan.  But with the Pampered Chef Baker’s Roller, you can roll your pizza dough out right on the pan!  This product actually has two different rolling pins on either end – one is flat (for rolling on a flat surface, as with pizza dough) and the other is slightly curved (for rolling dough in a curved container, such as a pie plate).  It also comes with a small tool which can be used for fluting or crimping the edges of a pie or tarts.  The Baker’s Roller is dishwasher safe (unlike my old wooden rolling pin, which I preferred to wash by hand).  As an added bonus, the kids love to use this tool when they play with Play-doh!  I really have nothing bad to say about this product – a must for anyone who makes pizza crust from scratch.
