I absolutely love the OXO Good Grips Cookie Scoop. One of the challenges I face when baking cookies is getting the cookie dough uniform in size so that the cookies bake evenly when they're in the oven. I am a huge fan of OXO products and this cookie scoop is no exception. First, it is very easy to use. The handle portion is easy to grip and it fits very nicely in my hand. I expected a brand new cookie scoop to be difficult to use but this was not the case at all. The mechanism is not too tight or too loose. It is just right and makes scooping the dough a breeze. Second, I like how I can press the cookie scoop on the side of the bowl and get an even top to each scoop. Finally, I love how it makes uniform cooke dough balls and these bake up into perfectly round cookies. I also use this cookie scoop when making muffins. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. I like the multiple uses for this product and the OXO quality cannot be beat.

I bake cookies several times a month, and I have to say, this is the best! This makes the easiest, perfect cookies every time! I have two sizes, so I can make bigger cookies or smaller ones! The cookies always come out perfect looking. It also works to ball melons and scoop ice cream. This product has so many uses. Everyone should have multiple of these in their house!

I like the grip on this scoop much better than others I have tried. My cookies are nice and uniform and bake consistently. The dough, which I normally refrigerate before baking, releases easily from the scoop. For stickier doughs, I sometimes spray the scoop with non stick spray. Looking forward to trying these in the small and large sizes.

I was just thinking the other day about brand loyalty and it occurred to me that I *love* every single OXO product I own. My favorites are my cookie scoops. I have them in both small and medium and they are perfect for cookies. They are sturdy - still holding up after a year of being used at least twice a week. I had tried cheap no-name cookie scoops and those broke very quickly. You can't go wrong with these. Ease of Cleaning As with most things, they're easiest to clean before things harden. Durability Mine have lasted over a year with frequent use. Design They're very easy to use.

I actually ended up purchasing two different sizes of their cookies scoops. The first one was alittle smaller than I wanted, so I also purchased one in a larger size. I not only use these coolkies scoops for cookies, but also when I make matzoh balls, or melon balls, because then everything you use them for comes out in the same, uniform size. I especially love the grip handles, which make their cookie scoops much more comfortable to use, if you are using it to make quite a few cookies, etc. I've used other cookie scoops, but my hands got tired, because they did not have this same grip handle. Wonderful to use if you have dexterity issues, like I do. Very Useful!

As a person who tends to be a gourmet style cook and innovative baker, I find that my house is packed with gizmos of all kinds that were given to us as gifts or that we bought to make this journey into food a bit easier and faster with their use. One of these things that I got was the OXO Good Grips Cookie Scoop. The soft handles make it easier to press for release of the stuff in the scoop. The scoop itself is pretty strong and can stand up to a lot of different uses. I have used the cookie scoop for cookie dough, raw cookies to put on the food dehydrator sheets, meatballs, vegan meatballs, canteloupe and watermelon balls, mashed potatoes (when the kids were little it was fun), and even little snack balls of tabouli or grain salad. The release is great, and the scoop is fairly well made, holding up to use without falling apart or breaking. Ease of Cleaning This cookie scoop has been fairly easy to clean. Sometimes when my hands get full of dough, it might work its way into the springs which could mean some fussy cleaning but that is not usually a big problem. Durability I have had this for several years now and it is still going strong. It even holds up to gently scooping up ice cream if it is not too hard. Design I am very happy with the design of this cookie scoop;. It is soft, easy to operate, and use, and consistent in performance. I am quite happy with it and the way it was designed.

I originally bought the large scoop for making cookies, but have since bought the medium and small sizes. I use the large size for ice cream, muffins, cupcakes and hamburgers. The other sizes are great for melon balls and cookies. They release everything so well and are so durable. I have had these for almost two years and they still look and work like they were brand new. They are so useful and make cooking and baking seem effortless. I have given these as gifts and they are always well received too. These are also good for making peanut butter balls and cake balls. They just have so many uses, and I am always digging one out to use for something. I am glad I bought all the sizes, I now have the option of making different sized cookies. I have also used these to make healthy homemade crackers, the smaller scoop works great for those and it's just the right size. Another thing they are good for is pancakes, it makes it so easy to scoop the right amount of batter into the skillet and there is no dripping mess. There are just too many uses, for these, I am sure they would be good for craft project's like soap making or candy making. I would definitely buy more if I ever had the need to. Ease of Cleaning Cleans very easily. Durability No problems with breaking after using many time. Design I like the design of this for scooping cookies, cake batter and those sorts of things because it's great fror squeezing out the batters but for hard things like ice cream I like a scooper that is made to be all in one piece.
