I purchased NYC Sparkle Eye Dust in white to provide some brush-on shimmer, and whiteness in my neice's dead bride Halloween ensemble.  She wanted to be pretty, but pretty dead looking.  This is a use that most people probably don't think of, but I wanted to give her a greenish white effect without making her all caky with makeup that would clog her little pores.  This dust is light, brushes on easily, and stays on throught the day or night (whicheve look you are going for).  I have used it to combine with my eyeshadow to give it a sparkly irridescent flair.  Its great for that, because it blends right in without clumping or smearing if gently mixed with your brush with the already present darker shadows on the eye.  I used classic Maybelline shadows in some darker shades, black, plum, and colors in that family.  It certainly gave them an irridescent, changing color effect in differnet lights, and made the shadow not feel so heavy on my eyes.  Its great for the face, and any other part of the face or neck!  I recommend it highly!

I purchased the color pink champagne in this eye shadow and I just love the color. It really made my eyes pop and got me noticed. I love how this shadow looks on my eyes. I love all the color choices in this eye shadow brand-I can't wait to try some of the other colors like smokey topaz, or 14 karat rose. The only problem with this shadow is when you apply it to your eyes. It goes on smooth and doesn't crease, but it drops a lot of it on my cheeks and it's hard to do it neatly. Once, I do though, i love it.

I am a really big fan of NYC (New York Color) Sparkle Eye Dust. The color I most frequently use is Smoky Topaz and I swear, almost every time I wear it, I get compliments on how pretty and sparkly it is! Its a nice sparkly brownish color and it's not too dark. My main problem with it is that it comes with it's own brush to apply which seems like a good idea in theory, but in reality the brush ends up dropping a bunch of the color on your cheeks when you go to apply it on your eyelids. Yes, even when you "shake" the brush off to tap some of the color off. It happens every time. I suppose it is not too big of a deal, since you just wipe it off your face and then you are fine. But It can be pretty annoying. Also the brush that comes with it isn't that good of a brush, it sort of folds up into a weird squished brush after like 3 uses. It never retains its nice straight brush-ness. The best thing about this, though, is that it really is spill proof. since it's a loose powder, it could be a disaster. but it's not! :)

I am absolutely in love with the NYC Sparkle Eye Dust. I purchased two of them, one in gold and one in a baby blue. It has a brush on application but I feel that using that is a bit messy so I bough a small applicator that I use to apply it on my face. I simply dab the brush in the product and place it on certain parts of my eye. If you are going to use the applicator that comes with the product make sure that you tap it against the sides of the product because that brush holds quite a lot of shimmer. I love putting the baby blue on the inner corners of my eye because it really makes my eyes pop. The glimmer of the product is very unique and looks like a wet glitter. I have used the same bottle for a while now and am glad that I purchased it. I was able to get these products on sale so I got them for a great deal. They work great as an eyeliner or shimmer. The shimmer is also long lasting.
