I have read the other reviews on Oreo Cakester's and have to disagree on many of them claiming it is too sweet and soft. My wife brought me home a pack today and I rather enjoy them. They are soft like say a Ding Dong and yes they are sweet but I feel they retained the same taste as an Oreo Cookie only in a soft form. — — Oreo Cakesters — — My wife got me the Chocolate Oreo Cakester and after dinner I indulged myself in them. I found them very soft and sweet just like others have said and claimed they did not like. I also found the outside of the Cakester…

I am a big fan of Oreo's my absolute favorite are the chocolate covered. My next favorite are the Double Stuff. Just give me Oreo's and a glass of milk and I am a happy girl. — I saw the Cakesters in the grocery store and thought how great do these look. If you see the picture on the box you want to try them because you think they are going to taste like Oreo's. I was a little disappointed. I really didn't like the flavor of the cakes at all. My kids on the other hand really liked them. So I would not say that I won't buy them again. Just not for me. — …

wild and crazy, snack lover, honest, a pothead
Puff, puff, pass these cookies are trash. — After eating these cookies ten minutes ago, I still taste them. The after taste is similar to baking cocoa powder. Must have big beverage if eating these cookies. — Same size as the double-stuffed Oreo, but they appear bigger on the box. But, the double-stuffed Oreos taste much better. — I recommend buying fudge rounds because they are cheaper, and bigger. Also, the fudge rounds taste a lot better than the Cakesters. — JUST BUY FUDGE ROUNDS! —…

Oreos will be the death of me... In fact, I think the cakesters killed part of me already. I was so let down! I love cake... I love oreos... But I felt like I was eating a vending machine snack. It managed to be dry, spongy, and too sweet all at the same time. I'm sticking with the original, Thank…

The cakesters are awesome. Taste great and are moist too. I love them with coffee for breakfast. Not too many calories either. I had a coupon for a free sample about six months ago, and I got hooked on them. I especially love the vanilla. Very moist little cakes. They are a big hit with my grandkids too. They love when I slip a package in their lunch boxes. For Christmas I was thinking about using them for stocking stuffers. They are great to munch on while opening Christmas presents. My mom even loves them, and she isn't too…

Okay, there seems to be a HUGE misconception about the new Oreo Cakesters based on most of the reviews here. — They are NOT suppose to replace Oreos!!! — Nabisco did NOT stop making Oreos to bring us Cakesters! Thus why they are called "Cakesters" — I LOVE oreos but ONLY when drowned in glass of milk until soggy. Not exactly a snack you can eat on the run, huh? Well now you can. These are as close as you can get without the mess. NO they do not taste exactly like the cookie but the are not suppose too and they are still pretty AWESOME. — If you LOVE…

I was looking for a product like this for two reasons. I LOVE chocolate and my husband has a "soft" mouth; i.e., he loves to snack but most snacks are too hard for him to eat. I thought that these cookies would be tasty and be easier for him to chew. — — Although they are little pricey at $3.59, they are individually wrapped and easy to take to work or keep in the car for a quick chocolate "fix" but I found them to be unpalatable. — — First of all, the smell of the product when opened from their packages was a little off-putting, but, since I had already…

I love OREO's! I am a huge fan of the Oreo Cookies with colored frosting. I was very excited to try the cakester adn was VERY disappointed. I expected it to taste like an Oreo - it does not! It tasted just like a ding dong. They are too sweet and they made me feel like gagging at the texture. My son of course liked them he is two and enjoyed the sugar high more than the texture. If you are an oreo fan, stick to the cookie and don't waste your money on these. —…

These are just alright. I picked up a box when i first saw them on the shelves but never bought another box. I guess that pretty much speaks for itself. They aren't gross or anything but they definitely look better than they taste. I suppose they are worth trying out at least once. They are also a bit pricey.... but then again so is most name brand junk…

These are not anything like an oreo, but they are awesome! The Oreo Cakesters (the ones with the white filling) are just like the Whoopie Pie cookies that my Grandma always made when I was growing up. They are moist, chocolatey, and sweet. A great cookie that is worth your time...just don't go into it thinking they are like…

I don't know why they are called oreos because they don't taste anything like oreos. They are very dry and need to be eaten with milk. They don't even taste like"cake".Stick with the real thing or a devil dog. Actually anything made by Drake's…

I thought they would be so good but I did not like them at all. They tasted raw like the cake part was uncooked. Even the cream was different. I think I was expecting them to taste more like an Oreo. For all those calories it is not worth…

I finally ventured out and tried the Oreo Cakesters. I thought $4 for 12 cookies was a little much, but they sounded good. I have always loved the taste of Oreos so I thought these would be great. I was a little disappointed because they tasted a lot different from Oreos. The outside of the Cakesters is soft, chocolate cake that was a little dry. The inside cream tasted a lot blander than the regular Oreo filling. I was expecting a lot of sweet flavor and these didn't have it, plus the cookies were a lot smaller than I expected. The Cakesters come in…

Reviews of Nabisco - Oreo Cakester
Oreo Cakester looks like this.
Fudge cream in middle but no fudge drizzles like Fudge Rounds.
Don't look near as good as on box either.
