They're not lying, this stuff WORKS!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Stop wasting your money on "cheap" potting soil.  Don't do it anymore!  Spend a little extra on Miracle Gro and I PROMISE you will see amazing results!

This product works exactly like they say it will.  They're not exaggerating for the commercials, you really will see your flowers and/or vegetables bloom close to double in size.  Just open up a bag of Miracle Gro potting soil and you can SEE the difference!  It's not just a solid black pile of dirt you're looking at.  The white stuff mixed in there with the dirt is actually Miracle Gro Plant Food, and it is what helps Miracle Gro work so well.  And it's not even really dirt that you s...

Miracle-Gro Potting Soil is really a miracle!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I loved the Miracle-Gro All purpose plant food, so I wanted to try this! I was not dissapointed. I mixed this with the soil I use in my garden and this last year my plants tripled in size. I got so many tomatoes and so many zuchini I had to give them away!

All my friends asked me how I do it, they all think I am a master gardener. Well my secret is Miracle-Gro Potting Soil. :) I tell everyone who wants to grow a giant garden! It really does work and makes my plants super happy and produces so much more then I actually need.

Not only does it work great in the garden but it works wonders on house plants! THe house plants I used it on are huge, I have an Orange tree and a Palm tree that just look amazing! Try this if your plants are lackluster or seeming to not thrive as well as before, not only will they grow like weeds but you dont have to feed them for three months! So you save money that way as well. Try this and you will not regret it!

Miracle-Gro Really Does Work!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I have been using Miracle-Gro products for years and I have never been disappointed. I water regularly with MG dissolving fertilizer in a watering can but every Spring I replant most of my flowers with a fresh scoop or two of MG potting soil. My vegetables get a little too but you do have to be careful with those and I usually use half as much as I would with flowers. Miracle-Gro does wonders for my potted flowers too which is what it is really for after all. Last year I grew Nasturtium's from seed and without this potting soil they would have not come close to their potential! Beautiful orange blooms for months and the plants themselves filled in very nicely. The soil is very...

Great Results for the Money!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I've been using Scotts Miracle Grow Potting Soil since moving to the country.  We have very sandy dirt here and it's really hard to grow anything unless you water it heavily.  Being that we have a well system here for water, that's not really ideal.  So we started using Scots Miracle Grow Potting Soil and we grow our vegetables in pots with this soil. I have to say that we have less bug problems since switching!  Our tomatoes grew nice and big.  I guess the right soil makes a big difference in how the plants grow and how well they grow!I also love the fact that it feeds the plants nutrients for up to 6 months so I don't have to worry about mixing or adding anything. It makes it much easier to grow more vegetables!  This saves us on grocery bills every month as well.  We can eat healthier, cheaper!  Vegetables these days are expensive at the grocery stores.  Growing our own saves us a ton of money. I highly recommend Scott's Miracle Grow!

Miracle-Gro Potting Soil is so easy to use for project with kids

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I have used Miracle-Gro for every planting project I have ever done.  I run a Youth Club and Daisy Girls Scouts and whenever there is an outdoor project, from planting flowers in a cup to planting a tree outside, we love using Miracle-Gro because of it's durability and ease of use with the kids.  The soil is fun for the kids to use, they are all familiar with what it is and does, how to use the material, etc.  I find that Miracle Gro is also easy because of it's resealable top, so when we're done with one project, we're not making a mess all over and can store it safely for other projects we might have.  Miracle Gro is easy to find in most stores, it's a name that vendors know and use or stock frequently for it's customers.  This product makes our projects just so much easier and I find that when we don't use Miracle Gro for our planting needs, we don't have as good a growth rate or survival rate as we would have had.

Great for the beginner

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Normally I don't like things that have a lot of chemicals in it.   I try to stay clear of chemicals and I've been trying to be as organic and natural as possible, however a green thumb I do not have.  I do however love to have a lot of plants in my house, as I love the smell of the flowers on some and I just feel rejuvenated and relaxed at the same time with all my plants in the house.   So I tried some cheaper brands that you could see just looked like it was just dirt and my plants would die shortly after I potted them.  I tried some of the organic soil but they were even more expensive and I didn't have the great results that I had with miracle gro.  So ...

I didn't notice a difference.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I didn't give this product the highest score, simply because I did not see any results from it than I have from similiar potting soils.  I do like the consistency of the dirt; it drains well.  It's not too heavy to pour, and the bag doesn't leak like other brands.  I will probably continue to purchase this product, simply because it's priced right in comparison with other brands, and I do like the quality of this brand.  I'm curious to try it again next year because, in WV, we've had an incredibly humid, and miserably hot summer.  None of my flowers or plants have done well after June.  Fruits and vegetables have dried up on the vine this year, regardless of soi...

It is a Miracle, how well your plants & flowers grow!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I use this product for everything that has to do with gardening or house plants. It is an amazing product and it doesn't lie when it says you will see the difference between regular potting soil and Miracle Grow. I use it to start seedlings and by the time they are ready to repot or be panted outdoors in the spring, they are healthy and thriving. Much better than with just any old cheap potting soil. I even sprinkle Miracle Grow around my yard in the fall, my grass is healthy and green. Living in Florida we don't get harsh "northern" winters or much rain during the winter through spring so the product helps keep the lawn looking healthy and green.

It's a bit more expensive but in the long run it'll garnish beautiful blooms on any type of flower and wonderful, colorful fruits and vegies in your garden. So it's worth the extra cash at first if you want healthy plants and flowers for your home and garden.

Miracle-Gro Potting Soil- great potting results

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I love gardening and being surrounded by plants inside, at my home and outside, in my garden. I look with satisfaction at my plants, which grow healthy and beautifully thanks to Miracle-Gro Potting Soil. I use this soil for my tropical and other kind of house plants, container flowers and potted plants outside. Thanks to nutrients of the soil, I noticed more blooms ans faster growth., better and healthy root systems. I live in hot, dry conditions and Miracle-Gro Potting Soil turns to be keeping moisture well. Also, I use Miracle-Gro for my vegetable garden during gardening season and for my herb container garden, which I keep inside. I highly recommend Miracle-Gro Potting Soil because of great potting results.

Help for me and Mother Nature!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I love Spring soooo much. I prabably buy too many seeds and little plants. But I actually tested a no name brand and then the Miracle Gro brand potting soil and there was no comparison. The plants in Miracle grow potting soil grew 3 times fuller and healthier than the others. When I get "spring time planting fever", I probably plant too many plants but I can't help it! I love it and use it every spring for repotting mature plants and for new seedlings for both flowers and vegetables. Beautiful plants! Huge flowers! Huge vegetables! When the plants get to looking alittle yellow and slow down on the flower or quit flowering all together....I give them Miracle Gro liquid feed and they perk right up and within days they are back to flowering. I absolutely love the MiracleGro band stuff! LOVE IT!

Miracle Grow feeds my plants and make them grow big!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

This plant food does help my plants grow. I have used this on flowers, vegetables and fruits in my garden. It also use it for house plants to perk them up. It dosen't take too much to get the results you want. My roses certainly came up healthy and beautiful. My tomato plants turned out best. I like to compare them from year to year. The tomatoes got twice as big. Some grew even bigger. They were plump and juicy. Miracle Grow makes plants greener. It turns vegetables and fruits brighter from added nutrients they are getting. A bag of this stuff lasts a while. It is a bit pricey, so you have to shop around. I got mine at Lowes last time, because I had a coupon. I don't know about planting get...

I got a leg up on my garden using this

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

During my first gardening experience, I wanted to ensure success, so I used miracle gro since I really didn't know what I was doing. I watched as my tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers took off. I watered and watched everyday and to my surprize I had a green thumb. I harvested vegetables all summer and had an abundance of fresh treats to share with my friends because I couldn't possibly eat all that grew. Now here's how I know it was Miracle gro that did it and not just a fluke. I went cheaper the next year and planted two extra crops to add to the previous year without using miracle gro. The two new crops never took off and the previous-year's successful harvest was significantly lower and very disappointing. I will never do a garden without miracle gro in place again. It's that time again to plant, I learned my lesson and I'm heading out to get some miracle gro to use for a successful vegetable harvest. Never to shortcut on miracle gro again.

can't garden without it

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I often get compliments on my garden and have even been told it's the prettiest on the block! All credit goes to Miracle-Gro. I use their potting soil and feed for my outdoor and indoor plants. I know it costs a bit more, but it is totally worth it. My plants are at least twice the size of my neighbors and we often buy our annuals from the same garden center. I can't even tell you the names of half the plants/flowers I have in my garden, but friends think I'm an exceptional gardener. Thanks to Miracle-Gro I have them all fooled!!

I am trying to hold out and not get too excited about this warm weather. It's hard to stay out of the garden and not jump the gun on planting my flowers, but I already have my planters cleaned ready and my 5 bags of Miracle-Gro potting soil stacked in the garage.

Miracle-Gro Potting Soil is a Miracle!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I plant a small potted garden in my yard every spring. I find that if I use the Miracle-Gro Potting soil I get much better results than if I was to use a cheap soil. I also like that it has a lot of the nutrients already added to the soil. When I buy cheap soil I find that I end up with a ton of rocks and chips of wood in it. It's not good for the plants you're growing. When you buy Miracle-Gro Potting Soil you don't find all the junk in the soil like you do in others. I used this product last year to grow tomatoes, peppers and strawberries. I had excellent results from using this soil and I will use it again this year when I start my little garden. I was really impressed with the results I had last year from using this and I actually got quite a few peppers, tomatoes and strawberries. I would suggest purchasing this product because it gives you the results you want. I also think it makes gardening simple because you don't have to add a ton of nutrients into the soil yourself.

Miracle Grow not the same as it once was

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I have used Miracle-Gro Potting Soil for years.  I used it inside for houseplants, outside for the patio plants and for my seedlings in my mini greenhouse.  In the past, Miracle-Gro worked consistently well.  My plants thrived.  It turned my brown thumb green.  But, alas, no more.  For the past two years, I have not had much success with this product, with one exception.  It still works well for my patio plants once all the weeds are gone.  That's right.  My potting soil is plagued by weed seeds.  At first I thought it was a fluke, but bag after bag, pot after pot, I was finding weeds.  My houseplants have also stopped thriving with Mira...
