Fun yet falls apart

The set itself was a lot of fun for my daughter once we got it put together. The problem was keeping it together. We ended up gluing it together which made it hard to store. I have had similar problems with other play set for the Polly Pocket dolls. My recommendations are to put it together before giving it to a child, my daughter got very impatient waiting for it to be ready to played with.

This was agreat idea . My daughter loves to play with cars. This was the first car set and cars made for girls. The color s are bright purple and pink. But the set itself it not durable, but the cars are great. My daughter still liked it and played with it.

First of all, does Mattel really need to put toy packaging together in such a way that it requires nothing less than scissors, wire cutters, and possibly a power tool or two just to get the box open? After struggling for over 20 minutes just to unwrap the toy, it was another two hours to assemble it! Two of the racetrack pieces were mislabeled which didn't help matters. Then, after being assembled correctly (finally!), the entire thing was so unstable and flimsy that every time one of the cars reached the end of the track (near the mall end of the toy), the entire racetrack would wobble... review »

Polly Pocket Race to the Mall is a fun toy but falls apart

My daughter received this as a Christmas gift a couple of years ago. It has a fairly average set-up time.

The "mall" portion of the toy is very, very small and is not really a playable area. The cars "race" around the outside of the mall area, which makes it even more difficult to play with. It's more fun to play with the mall area of the toy during the set up process (before the track is put around it).

The Polly Pocket Race to the Mall is a lot of fun to play with, but it does fall apart quite easily. The tracks are only linked together and do fall apart if you are not careful. This toy can...

This Polly and her pal will race through the big city to take the flag at the mall finish line. Simply place Polly and Lila in the 2 cars at the gate, push the button, and watch them fly! Or slowly guide the cars for continuous cruising, up the elevator and around the town. Besides dashing to the shopping center, your little friends can dine, shop, and pause for the spectacular view from the sky-high observation deck. This is a cool toy for kids who love polly pocket a they will have a blast playing with it.

The Polly Pocket Race To The Mall is a great toy. I am an 8 year old girl and I got it when I was 7 years old on Christmas. my dad and I are putting it back together and I can't wait!
