I purchased a Logitech ClearChat Wireless PC Headset in hopes of being able to have a wireless solution for online communication software such as Skype and Ventrilo.  This headset is nice in the fact that it has a rechargable battery (charing cord included) and that it has an adjustable microphone so I can walk around the room while placing calls and talking on Skype. The drawback to this headset is that the battery life is not as great as it should be, and you really have no warning on when the battery is going to die completely.  You'll be in the middle of a call and suddenly the headset beeps at you for a fraction of a second, then shuts off completely.  You can, however, use the headset while it is charging, but that defeats the purpose of a wireless headset. The sounds quality is generally good when everything is running smoothly, however it seems to be rather vulnerable to interference from coordless phones and other wireless equipment.  Even with the USB transmitter sitting less than 16 inches from me on my desk, the headset will still beep and lose it's signal every now and then for about 3-4 seconds, which can be quite annoying.  When everything is working right, however, you can usually get a good 30 feet or so away from the transmitter before it becomes unusable. Overall, this headset is pretty good for the money spent.  It's lightweight, comfortable, and the sound and voice quality are good.  The only improvements I would like to see are better range and less-vulnerability to interference.

I bought this headset for my husband for Christmas to replace his old one. He has been begging me for a wireless headset and he prefers Logitech. I trust this brand more than others because they have always made great quality products, we have bought and used many of their headsets and never been disappointed yet. My husband really enjoys his new toy as he can walk around the house while we are playing games online. I enjoy it because he can grab me a water, drink, food, etc while he is up, lol! It has great range although when it has to go through a few walls it starts breaking up a bit, but still thats pretty good! We are very pleased overall with the quality and range of this headset. Now I am begging my husband for one of my own, but not sure that it would work with 2 of them in the house. Anybody else have some knowledge on that they would like to share that would be great! Overall I give this 4 stars!

I have used this headset for a little over a year and I have been satisfied.  Don't expect gaming quality audio to come through this headset but perfect for VOIP calls.  Your not limited to sitting in front of your computer when chatting on Skype.  The signal is strong for 1-2 rooms so you can do whatever you want while talking and not stuck in front of the PC.  After several hours of wearing them your ears seem to get a little tender.  I wouldn't recommend this as your primary audio means.  It's perfect if you would like to set up a wireless browser connected to a T.V..  Logitech customer service is great, easy to help with an RMA and friendly service.  Be careful to not loose the USB receiver as I did in my last move.  If you do you'll wind up with a useless headset.  Overall if you are a casual user and want the benefits of wireless this guy is perfect but If you will wear it for extensive lengths of time than you may want to keep looking.

I bought these a year ago and now I use them regularly.  Unlike speakers you don't experience any feedback.  The sound is great, they are comfortable and it is so easy to use since you just plug it into a usb port.

I recently purchased the Logitech ClearChat Pro USB headphones for use in my work as a transcriptionist.  It is very important that the headphones I have give me the capability to hear the sound clearly and cut out any background or ambient noise that might be in the room.  These headphones do a good job with sound quality and some noise reduction, but they are a bit lightweight and don't have some of the controls my old set had.  For example, these headphones only have a volume control on the ear piece as opposed to having a volume control on the wire that connect to the USB.  This seems a bit flimsy and it is a little hard to adjust the volume to exactly where you have a comfortable level.  Also, they do not hold in place as well as the older, heavier models.  The strap that goes across the top of your head will move each time you take the headphones off.  It is really too light weight for my liking, but for now they will do fine.  Those things are just minor inconveniences, but the sound is just fine.  I may look for a different model if I were lookikng again.  I would only rate these particular headphones as average.

I got this as a christmas present and I absolutely love it.  The range on it has been way more than I expected.  Its so nice being able to still interact with my friends and still be taking care of my daily chores.  They are very comfortable to wear after an extended period of time though I notice my ears starting to get a little annoyed, had to readjust the headphones and then it was fine.  Having the mute and volume on the headset earphone part is nice.  The red light in the mic for when you have it on mute is also a bonus.  Overall, if you want mobility I would definitely recommend these.
