Easy to Use Aspirator
I'm not sold that saline drops really work. It seems to frustrate my baby more than help clear her congestion. And, trying to squirt them up her nose just gets saline all over the place. Perhaps my child fights back more than the average kid, but I don't think so. I get the feeling that saline sprays are helpful in making Mom feel like she's doing something proactive to assist her miserable little baby. However, I am going to give his kit 3 stars. Despite my sceptism on the saline spray, I love the nasal aspirator that comes with the kit. It's curved in shape, so you don't have to awkwardly hold the bulb under the kids chin while trying to gently put the tip in their nose (all while they are squirming like an angry trout). The curve in the tube lets you approach straight on and helps get the job done quickly. I also think it helps prevent you from sticking anything too far up the baby's nose, as it's easier to use.
