Very light, good when used in moderation

I have pretty short hair and I really only spend a few seconds getting my hair how I want it. It does leave the hair looking a little 'oily' or like I used gel. But i found that when I dry my hair about 80% then apply just enough, I can get the look i want with easy control. It looks like paste but it feels much softer, almost cream like. The bottle doesn't come with much compared to other products at it's price level but i don't really use much. All I need is a fingertip's worth and I'm good to go. I can go through a whole day without any hold problems. I haven't tested to see if it's strong enough to apply to bed hair but I really doubt it is. My hair is pretty thick so I'd need something strong to do that and I really don't want a look that uses a lot of product. This is a pretty good product for the price but there's others I will would rather use for the price. I just decided to try it out but as soon as this is gone I won't miss it much.

L'oreal's Texturizer isn't worth it

I love making my hair look messy and wavy, but this product didn't do much of anything for my hair except make it look oily. My hair stuck together, like glue and it felt rather stiff like I used a heavy duty hairspray. I didn't like what it did to my hair. Everytime I used the pomade, my hair looked like I hadn't washed it in days and it looked extremely oily, even after I had washed my hair. You can use this product on damp or dry hair. In my opinion, it works better on damp hair. On dry hair, my hair just looked awful. I had to re-wash my hair after applying it on my dry hair. The only plus side about this product is the smell. It smells fantastic! I really wish this product was worth it because the smell is so heavenly. After smelling this product I want to buy other products by L'oreal to see if they smell nearly as good as this one. Sometimes I use just a tiny bit of this stuff just so my hair can smell great. It is very thick and you put it on in globs.

L'Oreal's Texturizer is not to be passed over

I purchased this product today. On sale and a coupon made that happen. For years I have been using this particular line of hair styling products. I am faithful to the 'Springing Curls' mousse. So I decided to give this a try. The scent is very light and doesn't linger too much. It reminds me of the fragrances from the Liz Clairborne line. Light, fresh, slightly green with some notes of citrus. the texture is very similiar to what is printed on the actual product. It states that it is a gel cream and indeed it is. Though like most hair styling products, I still had to wash my hands of the residue left behind. Now my hair, on the other hand, was not sticky nor did it 'crackle' when touched. It feels very soft to the touch. I do have fine hair so I was hesitant to try this but I am glad that I did. I am left with waves and curls. I must say that I only just put it on my hair and then twisted it up gently. It now makes me wonder what my hair would look like if I used small pin curls or rollers. The only drawback is that I prefer dispensers when it comes to hair care products. I really don't like tubsw. Maybe someday L'Oreal will alter the packaging. So give this a try. You won't be disappointed
