We bought the stainless version of the LG Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator when we were married 8 years ago. We really liked the idea of the bottom freezer. The stainless finish (it's actually not stainless, but just looks like it) was great because it didn't show fingerprints. When we moved from our house, we intended to take it with us, but the offer we received included my beloved refrigerator. In a down housing market, we didn't want to take the risk of excluding the refrigerator! So, it stayed with the house. Fast forward 6 months, we were moving into a new house. Again in the market for a new refrigerator, we again chose the LG Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator. This time we went with the cheaper "Smooth White" finish. The look is just as it's described - it's white, but not rough like a traditional white refrigerator. It cleans nicely, but does show scratches more easily. My favorite feature, hands down, is the swing-out door for the freezer. I find it so much easier to find what I'm looking for than in the drawer-type. We've never had any problems with the unit. It's easy to clean the inside. I also like how the shelves as well as the compartments inside the door are all adjustable.

We chose this model. We love the look. The inside is quite roomy. We love the ice maker, have not had any difficulties ! We do not miss having the water dispenser. We use a water filter-pitcher, and put it in the fridge. I like the look- kind of retro like. Go check one out. You won't have any difficulties with the freezer being on the bottom. It is a great thing, to help keep organized. The basket slides out, I put the veggie bags stacked on the left and the meats on the right. There is a rack above. The icemachine is on the far left, it shoots ice into the plastic flat square bucket. To the right of that is plenty of room. Yeah and yeah. Economical and handy. No leaks had to be had from shoddy water machine!!! Noise Level Very quite- quiet! Interior Organization Love the setup. Temperature Control Excellent cooling. Ease of Cleaning Open edges to get into to clean. Durability It is nice and tough. Design Love the design of this appliance it is so nice.

When shopping for a big ticket item like a refrigerator I feel like most are way over priced considering the designs and size but this one happens to be a good price for the quality. The design and size are great and the inside is perfect. It comes with many selves all of which and be removed and changed around to make it fit and look just the way you want it which can come in very handy for special occasions such as parties where you need more room for drinks or holidays when you need more room for leftovers. with the freezer being on the bottom with a pull out drawer I feel you can really pack it without having to worry about things falling out when you try to take something out. I pack it with things lined up side by side so you never have to worry about digging through to find what you want you can see it all.

At 5 ft. I was having problems reaching into a top freezer compartment on a refrigerator. The appliance is easy to clean on the outside as well as the inside. On the outside I just use windex on a paper towel and clean it off.  The inside just a warm soapy rag and rinse the rag and clean the soap off the shelves. The gallon containers fits nicely inside the bottom shelf of the door and so do  2 qt juice containers. Can adjust the shelves inside the refrigerator to the height you need. The freezer and the refrigerator has separate digital control temp. It is self defrosting. The freezer has two shelves inside the door as well as a removal basket inside the freezer. Has a alarm that goes off if the refrigerator or freezer door is open for more than a few seconds.

We bought one of these last year after our other fridge died a slow death. I really like the freezer on the bottom. It is impossibe for a frozen chicken to fall from a great height onto your foot,( yes this did happen to me with a top freezer). Items are easier for me to find on the bottom freezer. I really like the way the doors open, they open very wide. One great benefit with the LG appliances is that they have alarms that go off. So if my husband leaves the door open it tells him, and the kids can't just stand and look into the fridge without the alarm going off. That is a great feature!!

We just love our new L&G French Door refrigerator. It has plenty of space for foods. I like the temperture control meat departments. I think it is great to have the reminder on the door to let you know when you have to change the water filter. With the fitler lasting six months it easy to forget.The built in reminder really helps.

Seems adequate for what it is intended.  Like me, if you have alot of people in the house, it is necessary for a refrigerator this big. The stainless steel may look nice but there would probably be no way to keep up with the smudging and fingerprint marks left by everyone using it. Also the bottom freezer I'm not sure about,  having to bend over makes it a little less accessible and easier for the younger children to get into. Overall I would say it's an average product in this category.

I love the concept of the freezer on the bottom. It is nice not to have to bend over everytime I get something out of the refrigerator and the frezer has two side by side compartments and a pull out drawer to put large flat items.  It has the ice and filtered water built-in the door and also on the ice and water panel that tells you how cold your freezer and refridgerator are. Example 40 degrees Refr. and 4 degrees freezer, also the room temp. and a alarm when someone leaves the door open. All the shelves pull out for easy access. I am very happy with this product.

I found myself on-line hunting down a new refrigerator after mine went out at 8 o'clock in the evening. The choices to physically go look are minimal so I resorted to hunting down my practical, not too expensive, big enough, freezer on the bottom, and ice maker included refrigerator. There are many bells and whistle's on the choices out there, but that also means more can go wrong so I opted for my versatile/realistic LG. I have never owned an LG, and so I did rely on others opinions which prompted me to share mine. It is white, so to remain neutral and match the other kitchen appliances. I love the choices of door bins and placement of them. The shelves also can be moved to your specifications. There are 3 drawers with humidity control, of which I really like. One of the best features of this model is there is a shelve that you can set stuff down on while loading stuff into or, or just use it to set stuff down while you are moving stuff around. It has an alarm on both doors if they are open for too long. The bottom freezer door opens , it has a wire basket that slides out, and a shelf. The ice bin sits on the shelf, and when first using it makes a lot of noise depositing the ice but all is well when it has enough to cover the bins bottom. I absolutely love that I can now fit pizza's in this freezer as apposed to my old side-by-side. I also believe it has more room as the refrigerator seems cavernous to me. The lighting inside is awesome. My Grandmother had the freezer on the bottom and her's lasted forever so I do hope mine does as well. I have had knee problems in the past and the freezer on the bottom ease a lot of that issue. The icing on the cake is the energy star rating.
