This is the very best microwave we've ever had. It's sleek, fits just above our stove, cooks food evenly, and has the unique handle/door that pulls down rather than side/side or out. People often mistake it for a double oven because it's that classy! I use the regular quickstart feature (1 minute) all the time and really love the Defrost feature because you can set it to specific items (bread, meats, etc.). The main thing I dislike about the oven is the beeping. It has a series of beeps (4) after something is done cooking, but I wish it wasn't so loud. I have a small child and the noise can wake him sometimes! Otherwise, it beeps to reset the microwave if you take something out and leave time on the clock.

This microwave looks really nice in my kitchen. The build quality seems excellent as the thing weighs a ton. I really like the auto sensor cook feature for the microwave, just wished it had the same option for the convection. The convection works as advertised and you can even cook in dual mode, convection with up to 30% microwave power to speed things up. The only think I don't like about it is the metal rack it comes with. Instead of hanging the rack from hooks on the wall it just sits on the glass turntable. It works but it just seems a little cheap. I tend to store it in the microwave as the feet make it tall and hard to store elsewhere. Overall, great microwave/convection oven! Would buy again.

We built a home a little over 2 years ago and I searched and searched for a microwave that could double as a second oven and be place within the island.  This was the only option for us that would not void our warranty. I absolutely love the soften/melt function on this appliance.  It's used at least 6 time each month for my baking needs.  My husband loves it for the ease of use and the location which was easily placed away from the major appliances.  He can heat up a cup of coffee and not get in my way.  It was placed in the island away from other areas.  In a pinch, I can use it for cooking up some biscuits when othe oven is busy doing other things.  The prepared frozen dinners heat extremely well in this appliance with very few hot spots.  I find no second guessing the directions on the box.  The quick add a second is ingenuis and invaluable.  The interior is stainless steel making clean up a breeze. After two plus years, we've had no problems requiring the services of a technician or even a telephone call.  Thanks KitchenAid.
