For my first pie making experience, I was asked to make 2 pumpkin pies. I set out to find a recipe online. That part was easy but could I actually do this? The recipe I found had many comments from others saying they had used ready-made graham cracker crusts instead of the unbaked pie crust the recipe called for and that sounded very good to me.
Keebler Ready Crust Graham is sold in the baking isle of your grocery store. There are a few varieties including reduced fat but I wanted the regular ready crust. This 6oz pie crust measures 8.5"in diameter. It says it's 9" but I think they...

The jello instant cheesecake comes with a crust mix, but I like using the Keebler crust to knock 15 minutes off the prep time... Plus it comes with a top which I flip over once the pie is completed to protect it. Works wonderful. I know that there are recipes on the bottom of the lid, I've never used one, but it's a cool feature.
My husband loves them.
:)
I love using these. Makes life easier since they are ready to fill. I love that they have a cover to put over the leftovers if there are any. I use them when I make two boxes of pudding, pour it in the pie shells and dessert is done. A quick way to make a dessert in 5 minutes. My favorite is Pistachio Pudding Pie with this pie crust.
I think I will go make one now!
Oh, so chocolaty and taste like eating their cookies, too- helps you when you are busy and trying to make something good and quick. Add premade pudding and whip cream on the top and it is deli/bakery worthy! I love it ;)
Try this with chocolate or mocha pudding from Jell-o, and top with cool whip!
I have a diabetic husband, which we just learned a few weeks ago. My mother was before she died in 1991 with what was called nervous diabetes after my brother was killed in Viet Nam Xmas Eve 1969. She passed out at his funeral & in the hospital they declared her a diabetic. Both are pill poppers, no insulin shots. Diet can cure, which I helped mom get rid of it & now my husband. She had that horrible saccharin tablets in coffee, etc but no cooking with it. After she died Nutrasweet was created but again no cooking with it. Now my husband doesn't miss any of his deserts with Splenda. ...
