I used the Jiffy 32 Cell Plastic Seed Starter Tray last Spring and it was a big help in my garden. It is easy to use, just fill with soil and plant the seeds, add water and place the lid on and set in the sunlight. My main downside is the flimsy-ness of the plastic, I would perfer a stronger product but it is made to be disposable so I let that go. I would have perfered a taller lid as well, if you plant something that grows quickly you need to remove the lid fairly quickly, again it was not a big deal so I did not make a fuss over it. I like the inexpnsive cost and the replaceable trays. I also like that the Jiffy planters are available in different shapes and sizes depending on what kind of planting job you are doing.

I purchased the Jiffy 5238 32-Cell Plastic Seed Starter Tray after getting the urge to develop a green thumb last spring. I had never gardened, nor grew anything from seeds before. I happened upon one of these a local store and read the instructions. The instructions on the Jiffy 5238 32-Cell Plastic Seed Starter Tray are very clear. I chose to plant a few different types of seeds in each "row" in the seed starter. I started basil, tomato, green pepper, and cilantro plants in my seed starter and they all did wonderfully. All you need to get started is the Jiffy 5238 32-Cell Plastic Seed Starter Tray, seeds, water and a semi-sunny window spot. Following the instructions, I added water to the compact soil, watched it expand. I then added my seeds and followed the remaining simple instructions. By the time the weather was warm enough, I had a lovely start to a window box garden. I am looking foward to using this system again this spring!
