Comments about Intex Inflatable Hot Tub:

In 2008 I lost my left leg, in 2014 I lost my right leg. I only mention that because I wanted to preface this to let people know that even if you have mobility issues, you can still enjoy yourself or the company of others in this portable hot tub. When Intex uses the term "portable" it doesn't mean that you can just slide it around or move it when you need room. They mean that it is something that doesn't have to be permanently erected, you can drain it for the winter and then inflate it again in the summer. This can seat four people but it is going to be cramped and you will have water spilling over the edges of it. Inflating it takes about twenty minutes depending on the method you are using. Since I have to remove my prosthetics before I get in, I have an old picnic bench next to the hot tub. Once I remove my legs and sleeves I just turn around and pop into the water. Getting out is a little trickier if you don't have the upper arm strength to be able to lift yourself out backwards on to something. Even though I have a full sized pool, this hot tub has been a complete blessing for me. I can soak in it or just climb in and relax while I soak up some son. It comes with almost everything that you need to get started but make sure you have a level surface to start with. I had a neighbor double check mine to make sure it was level and it was off by about an inch and a half. He packed down some sand and checked it again and it was perfectly even.

What a great invention!

Comments about Intex Inflatable Hot Tub:

I personally think this is one of the best items I have ever purchased. Who would have ever thought that someone like me could afford a hot tub. Thank you Intex. The Intex Inflatable Hot Tub is absolutely amazing. I can't think of one bad thing to say about it. The set up is very easy. The hot tub comes with a step-by-step instructional DVD that will help you assemble the hot tub in such a small amount of time. I think it took me just a little bit over an hour, which isn't long at all, considering all of the money I was saving in the long run. The bubble jet system is so relaxing and the water temperature is great-not too hot and not too cold. I have 5 kids who occasionally climb in without letting me know and it has no punctures, even after a year's use. I am always very hesitant to buy inflatable objects because they always get holes in them because of my kids. But the material this hot tub is made of is very durable. This is a great product that I highly recommend.

Decent hot tub but weight limit can be an issue

Comments about Intex Inflatable Hot Tub:

I didn't have high expectations for the Intex Inflatable Hot Tub, but it has proven to be a temporary viable option for relaxing in the sun. I was able to inflate and fill this tub with water in about 1 hour, but the water heater delayed my enjoyment. It took about 8 hours for the water to just reach 70 degrees Fahrenheit, but once it reached my desired temperature it remained there for several days. I found this tub to be extremely solid when supporting my body when getting in and out of it. The bottom of the tub is very cushy and has very little compression when I'm sitting in it alone. When I'm entertaining guest with a total weight of 400 lbs+ I notice significant sinkage to the tub's floor. Because of this I try to limit the total weight to 300 lbs to ensure adequate stability. The only downside to this hot tub is that it can't be used during the winter because the water
will freeze. I would definitely recommend the Intex Inflatable Hot Tub for summer time relaxation.

We really enjoy this tub and glad that we have it

Comments about Intex Inflatable Hot Tub:

I have always wanted a hot tub but we decided that we would wait to get one until we recouped from the cost of having a pool put in. A friend suggested that we look into inflatable ones. Much to my surprise the ones that we looked at looked nice and offered all of the fun things about using a hot tub. I’m not sure but I do think it is more of a challenge getting in and out with flexible sides but otherwise, it looks really nice and the overall construction makes a durable long lasting tub. A real plus is that these tubs don’t require much maintenance and they have a filter that is easy to replace and the tub itself is so easy to do a quick clean up. I was surprised at how strong these tubs are. We can even sit along the side when we just want to do a quick in and out. Like the hard tubs, it has a thermometer to keep the water temperature that is the warmth that you like. It has a insulated cover that keeps the water temperature setting to your desired liking. It just takes a touch of a button and the one hundred and twenty jets are bubbling away. The temperature can be adjusted to whatever you like, but my favorite thing about the hot tub is how easy it is to take care of it and clean it. It is strong enough that you can sit on the side seat. It was really quite simple to put together and it comes with a cover that has child safety locking straps.
