We have had this for quite a few years now and we have not regretted purchasing this at all. Assembly was not bad at all with two people putting it together. This would be much more difficult to assemble by yourself, if that's possible. Our lining lasted us three summers before it sprung a leak and needed replacing. The frame for the pool is very sturdy and we have not had any worries about it breaking on us. We have several rough and rowdy boys in the family and they haven't be able to do anything to damage the framing. It's a nice depth, especially for kids and/or shorter people, it's pretty close to a below ground pool for them. For people of above average height it's a little less enjoyable, when you're standing up you're out of the water more than you'd want when you're in a pool. When we pull this out of the garage our family knows summer has truly arrived. It is a great family activity.

We decided last year to buy a pool, not only for my husband and I but for the grandkids, and nephews that are at our home most of the summer. I was amazed at how effortlessly it was to assemble and fill. And also how easily it was to break down and empty. It's more than big enough and quite sturdy.The kids all loved it and were in there most of the summer,it was easy for them and ourselves to get in and out with the help of the ladder provided. I can't believe it. We will continue to use it year after year. We are thinking of building a deck this year for our lawn furniture to sit on it.

The pool was sturdy and easy to get into and out of, it was big enough to swim around in and to hold several adults and children at the same time.The water didn't spill out with the ladder to help get into and out of the pool and without the ladder small children could not get in the pool and the water stayed clean and the pool was easy to clean and the power to run the pump was cost efficient, the pool was easy to take down and store for the winter.The pool did not take up a lot of room and for the money the pool was just right for older children.

We have had this pool for many years. I would say going on four now. We will be replacing it this summer for the same one. The 15' x 42" is the perfect size for our family and yard. When in use, we normally have one or two adults, three kids ages 10 and under plus one dog enjoying it at the same time. I would say that's about the limit of occupants for a comfortable swim. You definitely could fit more but it would start to feel cramped. The height of this pool is tall enough that an adult on their knees would be mostly covered with water. Yet it's short enough for a younger kid to be able to touch the bottom with their head above the water. I would highly suggest when setting up this pool that you have one or two other people helping. Preferably two other. Also before putting down the tarp and the pool, you definitely want to build a sand base for your Intex Pool. This will help to achieve a smooth wrinkle free floor and while also giving you a nice soft surface beneath the pool. I built my sand base by buying several 50 pound bags of all purpose sand. You'll need just enough to make half an inch to 1 inch layer of sand. Much more than that and you may run into problems with the sand eroding away and stretching out your pool liner. Another thing that I would recommend is going online and buying a pool solar cover. What this is, is a large piece of plastic that has air pockets built into it similar to bubble wrap but made of a much higher quality plastic. It will help raise the temperature of the water. This really make a difference in having a pool that you can enjoy. One last thought, you may also eventually want to upgrade the filter that comes with the Intex Pool. The originally filter that came with our pool died on us pretty fast and we replaced it with a similar one. But then that one also died. We then upgraded our filter and also got the Intex salt water System which has made maintenance and the pool so much nicer.
