I have been using my vacuum for many years and have finally changed the filter in the last 6 months because I would always forget it about replacing it. This new filter has been working great. You can make them last a little longer by taking the filter outside and cleaning some of the dirt/dust off. That is if you dont have a lot of allergies! I found a flilter with Febreeze in it and it makes my house smell great everytime I vacumm!
