The **Honeywell HFS-641P Platinum Air 16" Premium Stand Fan **is a very high quality fan! The assembly could not have been easier, and it is light enough to move if I ever want to set it up in a different part of the room. It is very, very quiet and unobtrusive, and can quickly blow enough air to cool down a room extremely quickly. The oscillation ability is very helpful also when it's necessary to send air over a wider range. However, I wish that it had a remote included with the unit, so that I could be able to reset the speed or turn on the oscillation settings while I am in another room. All in all, I do not have any complains about the build quality or the blade fans, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.****

Great unit, works perfectly in my basement workshop just perfect for pulling out stain and saw dust through the ba sement window to the great outdoors. Wify does not moan about the odors in the house and it does suck in the best of ways! Terrific value, bet it works well for cooling as well because it moves so much air so very fast.

First let me say that I am not the biggest fan of using fans, no pun intended. I reluctantly agreed to my husband to get this fan because I was dying of heat during the night when I was pregnant and we didn't want to use the air conditioner, seemed kind of rediculous. We decided on this fan and it has worked great. It is not super noisy, just the normal 'white' noise of a fan. I like that it can either move or remain stationary, it also has three settings which is great too. We stick it in front of the window to bring in cooler air. The only problem with it is that it is pretty big, I'd like it to be so much smaller so that it isn't such an eyesore in our bedroom. It could also look a little more stylish.

The Honeywell name is well established, but I have to say that this fan is one of the best I have owned. It stands nicely in a corner out of the way, and is easy to adjust. Cools the room nicely! I don't feel like it ever gets in my way, though I'm sure some would complain! There are 3 speeds on this fan, for flexibility in temperature, and even cooling. The oscillating feature is nice in any fan, but this fan has a good realm that it oscillates in - I love the amount of space that it will cool. It runs very quietly, which is a major plus for me. Assembly was easy, and not long. Overall a great fan for the money spent, and I felt so much cooler it would have been worth a little more money (though don't tell them that!!! )

This fan works well! It has a steady base, and you can make it revolve or remain stagnant. More importantly, it lasts! I have used various fans over the years and most of them either broke, could not revolve, or could only revolve, but this fan looks just the same as the day I purchased it. The base isn't made up of two sticks overlapping each other, which always ruins the way a fan can support itself. Instead, it has a round-shaped platform on the bottom, making the fan be able to stand without ever tilting over. In the back part, it has a little peg. It can be pulled up, which makes the fan remain still in one direction, but if pushed down, the fan will be able to revolve. The coolest part about this fan is that it comes with a six control setting where you can set it to low, medium, or high. You can also time it to remain on for 2, 4, or 8 hours in which it will cut itself off after the number of hours pass.

The Honeywell Air Platinum 16 inch stand fan works very well. My english teacher had one of these that she used in our classroom. I remember is being one of the hottest days towards the end of the year and her room was one of the coolest! I remember sitting the the first row in the room and having it blow on me. It was very refreshing.

I have to say that when I went to the store, I really didn't care what kind of fan I got.  I just wanted a fan that was on a stand.  I've been using this fan for a while now, and it is AMAZING!  I love how it is not annoyingly loud.  I can sleep with this fan on and I'm a very light sleeper!  I also like that it is light and not bulky.  If I need to move it around the house, it is so quick and easy!  The only thing I would like now is a Honeywell fan with a remote, and I know it's out there so I just gotta find it!  But a great buy I must say!

My husband and I purchased this fan last summer when our air conditioner was messed up. We had been lying in bed sweating at night, instead of getting any sleep. But when we got this fan, it was the answer to our problems. We put it at the foot of our bed, and put it on medium and rotate. Oh my goodness. Talk about wonderful! I would lie there and picture myself lying out in a hamock on a breezy spring day, and fall right to sleep. This fan is awesome!I would definitely recommend it, and would buy it agina at the drop of a hat.
