I use this printer at work and I am impressed by the speed and quality it delivers. I find it perfect for home office networks. The speed is great and we use it for routine office printing and/or volume printing of manuscripts. At over 30 pages per minute, It's fast for its size and it delivers a crisp, clean, strong, clean image. We mainly run with XP laptops and they all install easily with the printer which is connected to the router. In 2 yrs with this printe, I had to call for service only 2 times and it was an easy fix. No more losing a printout because someone else reboots a shared PC. For business users, recommend to get the extended warranty. The warranty from HP is very good and they usually serve you well. You can find it at staples or office depot in case you want to see how it looks and if it will fit in your desk. Overall, great value for the money paid and I will stick with HP.

I love this printer very much because: it performs well and prints fairly quick. My first toner cartridge lasted through about 5 packs of paper and I was very satisified. I highly recommend this printer to anyone who needs a black and white printer. It is a great value for the price.

This is the best printer I've ever worked with, It never fails me even with large amounts of printing sent to the printer at one time. The printer only prints black copies but the prints come out good each and every time. The printer uses a toner and each toner and print up to 1000 sheets. I can turn off the printer, leave it off overnight and turn it back on, the printer will print immediately. There is no need to warm up the printer like deskjet printers. If you have space for a larger type printer, this laserjet printer is the best choice. The printer runs quiet and low noise when it prints. Setting up this printer was a breeze, I simply plugged it to the computer and the computer recognized the printer. I installed the software and had no problem with the software.

HP makes quality products. This is evident from my experience with current HP products. The HP P2035n laser printer is one of the many laser printers on the market. Also one of many made by HP but at the price point it is feature rich. What sets this apart from other comparable printers is overall quality. It is a small footprint printer which means that it does not take up a lot of deskspace. It has a tray that can hold about a half ream worth of paper and a manual feed/all purpose tray. It can do double sided printing (you have to insert the pages back into the printer manually for this feature to work). HP should have incorporated automatic double sided printing. It has other paper and toner saving features such as the abiity to print multiple pages on one sheet of paper. This makes the printer economical to use. The all purpose tray is great for envelopes, card stock, legal etc. The tray is a pull-out type and holds the paper/envelope sturdy. Some printers I have seen you have to hold the media and wait for it to get sucked into the printer. I suggest that you always use original manufacturer toner. The toner is reasonably priced and readily available at local office supply stores. The one thing I have noticed is that you can continue to print long after the "toner low" light appears on the printer. I am not sure why the toner low light comes on like that but wait until the toner completely runs out before replacing. Again for best results (and to make the printer last longer) use original HP toner. Don't let size fool you because it is a workhorse. It is a solid device with both USB and ethernet connectivity. I was surprised to learn that it is networkable but that is great for smaller work or home networks. The printer comes with Windows and Mac drivers so setup is a breeze. It is a fast printer capable of doing 600dpi (up to 30ppm). Keep in mind that this is a monochrome printer...only BW. I have not seen any smudging or streaks on documents. For a little printer it is somewhat loud but not overbearing. Overall at the price point for this printer you cannot go wrong. I love the toner/paper saving features which are typically found on higher end printers.

I bought this for work to replacement the other hp printer that I was using. Nothing was wrong with the other hp, I just needed something more efficient and the HP P2035N was it. I love the feature of being able to print double sided documents, and the efficiency of pages per minute is great. I researched this printer with a customer service person of HP before I bought it. It is a good printer, but I print alot of labels to, the labels aren't any thicker then the avery labels you buy from your local office store. At the beginning the printer had no problem, a month old the printer started to smear the ink all of the label. I called Hp several times about this issue and they finally told me I have to go into "printing preferences" to change the setting to a heavier and more hotter setting that will adhere the ink to the label. As you can understand this became a pain that I had to change this setting every time I printed labels, being that you can't leave the printer on this setting because it will ruin the printer over time from the high heat of the setting. The printer also has two trays, most of the time I have to hit the green go button for the printer to print, because it won't automatically pull from tray 2. This could be because I only use tray 1 for labels and nothing else, but no matter what that is a big peeve that I would have with this printer. Overall this is a good printer for the money and does a great job.

Although this printer is cumbersome it's a great printer.  It gives off a professional quality, is easy to maintain and troubleshoot.  I like that the ink for this printer lasts through lots of print time.  I consider it top-quality.
