Among the different types of liquor available on the market, vodka is the type that is often the least distinguishable. Many admit that they have a difficult time telling one vodka from another and this is part of the reason why inexpensive vodkas sell so well. But to the discerning palate there is an unmistakable difference with some of the premium vodkas and one that I reach for when I feel the urge for some clear liquor is Grey Goose Vodka, a premium vodka produced in France
Vodka Commentary:
Grey Goose Vodka is completely clear and flows as smoothly as a glass of water. The nose on Grey...
Grey Goose is a little more pricey than most vodka, but it is worth the extra cash. Smooth taste and great effects! I like to drink Grey Goose with water and a Crystal light on the go packet or just water itself. It is one of the few types of vodka I have ever tried that is smooth with water. Grey Goose vodka is by far my favorite vodka because I almost never have a hangover after drinking Grey Goose, as opposed to other brands of vodka. As a college student, it is safe to say that many other young adults my age tend to purchase vodka based on price only, but once you actually splurge one time...
review »Grey Goose is a good Vodka, plain and simple.
For the price, though, there is much better (Ed Phillips & Sons Prairie or Iceland Reyka).
It's quite smooth, minimal taste, but distinguasble non-the-less; I'd recommend this product, though, as a last resort; if there's nothing else available and you're choosing between 5 Vodka and this, pick this.
If I'm going to have a drink, I would rather have a good quality drink that tastes good rather than a cheap tasting drink for a few dollars cheaper.
Gray Goose is well worth the price. It is smooth tasting and weather doing a shot, having a martini or a mixed drink, it is the best tasting vodka around,
one of the fairly decent vodkas in town.. it's pretty smooth.. goes down easy on the throat!
i've tried mixing it with orange juice ... but just toc ut my caloric intake i have it with diet coke and gives me a kick.. the taste is smooooooth plus i'm not worried about the calories!!
Grey Goose is by far the best vodka I have had. I love it ice cold from the freezer, or mixed with orange juice in the morning. The extra dollars are totally worth it.
Disclaimer: make sure you are keeping track of how much you've had, this stuff will creep up on you!
I'm a social drinker, but when I do drink it's typically vodka... and Grey Goose is one of my favorites. It is incredibly smooth and tastes good in soda and juice. Also if you want to enjoy a shot, try it with Grey Goose and it will go down much easier.
For not being much of a drinker this vodka is well worth the extra cash!
