I just bought a house a year ago and it already had this stove top intalled. I was nervouse about havining a glass top with having rough boys but the glass is very thick and sturdy. It has one large burner and 3 small ones. You can use the left top and left bottom as a connected burner so i can put my griddle pan on and it heats up the whole pan. Makes it very easy to make a big batch of pancakes or eggs. The only thing i would change about this oven top if i could is i wish that you could have 2 larger burners and 2 smaller ones. I have a large family and making something like pasta i need 2 large pots ging at once on the stove. Overall though it is a great cooktop. very easy to clean and looks nice in the kitchen.
