Name brand and off brand products seldom differ. Granted, there are some things that the name brand version is significantly better than the off brand version, but those are normally the exception. The rule is that both versions are the same. This rule is true for One a Day Women's Formula and the Equate off brand, Women's One Daily. I am not all about eating however you want and just taking a multi-vitamin to supply all the nutrients your body needs. It seems like my friends who take a whole slew of vitamins every day spend more of the year sick than I do. But there are some (okay, a lot) of foods that I do not particularly care for. Actually, I can't stand them. So naturally there will be those obscure minerals out there that my body does not get enough of, or even any of, on any given day. I first noticed it when, for no apparent reason, I would get a mouth sore that lasted weeks, and only a few days after it went away, I would get another one. A little sleuthing across the world wide web turned up a likely culprit--a mineral deficiency that I was not about to injest with food. So, I found a cheap, healthy alternative. Equate Women's One Daily. You might want to invest a little extra, though, if you can't swallow horse pills, because the off brand pills are humongous.
