It does not make my hair heavy and the next day it is not flat. I can add a little to my fingers, spread in around through my wet hair and it adds a lot of body when I dry my hair. If I am in a hurry the next day, I can just get my hands a little wet and fluff up my hair. This product has made me want to use styling products again. It is not so heavy that my hair is stiff, but it adds enough extra body to my hair that it is not going all over the place. I still use a finishing spray to hold it in place and together with the Envia I feel that my style lasts for most of the day.
