One of the things that I love about my Keurig is that I can have a single serving of coffee in about a minute. What I hate is that the K-Cups are expensive and my local stores usually have only select flavors in stock. I have bought other refillable cups to be used with my machine and they worked but they never lasted more than a month or two before the lids would break off or the sides would start to crack. A friend gave me one of these to try; she bought a four pack of them and said they out-performed all of the other refillable cups that she had tried. They fit perfectly into the brew pod and cleaning them is simple. The other refillable cups that I had purchased all had a cheap feel to them, like they were going to fall apart if I handled them too roughly. When I was satisfied with how the refill cup performed and was able to get just the right amount of coffee in it to brew the perfect tasting cup of coffee I ordered a set of them online. I used those for a couple of months before I upgraded again to the stainless steel version; now that I have had that I doubt I will ever go back to the plastic version. The taste difference was more than worth the price and I know that it is going to last a lot longer than the plastic refillable cups. I like that I can save money using this and that I can adjust the strength of the coffee I am brewing; I prefer a stronger cup but not everyone likes to have that morning jolt. This is easy to clean and has never given me any problems getting it in or out of the Keurig.

I decided to give the Ekobrew a try to see if I could save some money on K-cups. I did a lot of research before I chose this brand and I am glad I did. I only ordered one to start with because I wanted to try it out first, but now I wish I had ordered two or three. My husband loves it so much he keeps using mine all the time. It is a snap open type lid and you fill it it regular bagged coffee to the strength you desire. I like a strong brew so I fill mine all the way up to the max line. My husband likes a much lighter coffee so he only fills it about half way. You simply close the top and place it into you Keurig. Make sure it nestles into the pod holder. It sits perfectly into the pod holder so if yours is not nestled perfectly you need to turn it until it sits completely. I have never had a problem with this, but the only way I can think someone would have a problem might be not sitting it into the pod holder correctly. Then you run your Keurig just like usual. When it is finished you can dump your coffee grains into the trash or a bin for recycling. Rinse it out and it is ready for use again. I love mine and my only wish is I would have purchased one sooner!

I love the ekobrew refillable k-cup. I actually have two of them. I fill them each evening and have them ready to use first thing in the morning for my husband and myself. These are nice because they are used in conjunction with the k-cup holder in your keurig. To use "the other product", you have to remove the k-cup holder. This is not a problem if you don't use k-cups. You can just remove it and be done. If you are like me, and like to use k-cups as well as your own coffee in the refillable k-cup, it becomes rather frustrating to remove the holder and then replace it when you want to use a k-cup. with the ekobrew refillable k-cup, you just put your coffee in, pop in into the k-cup holder and hit the button. It is that simple. It is very easy to clean also. I dump the grounds out of mine and then run it through the dishwasher. This is a must have item if you like to use your own coffee in your keurig machine.

I received a Keurig for Christmas because in our home I am the only person who drinks coffee. It was an awesome surprise and I was excited to use it. However, after about 2 weeks of use the kcups that came with it were disappearing and I was left to purchase them for myself(as expected), but OUCH! Those things can be pricey. A friend told me about the ekobrew reusable cups that I could fill them with ground coffee and use over and over. I checked them out and with 1 costing the same as a box I figured I would try it. Amazing. They are simple to use they fit right in with no issues. If you fill in properly to the "fill line" it makes an excellent tasting cup of coffee. Each keurig is different but mine has 3 size settings I use the middle setting and enjoy a great cup of coffee for a fraction of the price. Awesome product I have since bought a few more just to make it easier for washing.

I finally bought one of these refillable ekobrew k-cups because I noticed that, with all of the many varieties of k-cups I have on hand for guests, they usually choose Folger's vanilla biscotti. So I will buy it by the bag and use my new handy-dandy kitchen gadget. It is a pet peeve of mine that people always take the last Folger's vanilla biscotti k-cup, when there are scads of others to drink ... even when I "suggest' other options. How does one explain that they'd like to have one or two left for company when they're all company/guests, if they don't live here? I just want a variety, for guests, without buying a whole box of one kind for one person to drink. I guess until people own a Keurig they just won't "get it." Sigh. But I do like having this ekobrew, wish I'd bought another one so that two people can make different coffees without having to wait, or clean it out. Time to watch for another deal, this came with 8 free sample k-cups and a bag of granola.

I purchased two Ekobrew refillable k-cups last year through a Groupon. I put off using them for almost the whole year because I had heard people had so many problems with them, i.e. that they have coffee grounds in their coffee, they cause the machine to overflow, etc. Because I make two cups of coffee each day, I found I was going through tons of k-cups, and they are not cheap! I finally broke down and tried the Ekobrew cups, and boy, was I happily surprised at how great the cup of coffee tasted! It is a little awkward filling the cup (I found using a regular teaspoon works best for me), and you don't want to go past the fill line or you won't be able to close the cup properly. I have been using just regular, bagged coffee that I normally use in my regular coffee maker and haven't had to buy any special grounds or anything. And the coffee comes out tasting great, never more than a grind or two in my cup (and that happens with regular k-cups too), and never any overflow. And it is easy to knock the used grounds out. Tap the bottom, don't bang it on the side or you can dent the mesh.

One benefit of the Keurig is the ability to brew your own preferred ground coffee with the addition of the "My K-Cup" offered by Keurig. The Ekobrew refillable K-Cup is similar to the "My K-Cup" but much easier to use. With the "My K-Cup" the entire K-Cup holder needs to be removed and then replace before normal K-Cups are used. That is not the case with the Ekobrew. It is just like any other K-Cup. With more than one Ekobrew, you can fill them beforehand so it is as easy as placing it in your Keurig to brew as usual. The choice of several different colors makes it easy to distinguish between different coffees for separate members of the family. This also helps cuts down on the costs since coffee purchased in bulk can now be brewed in the Keurig. After months of use these plastic Ekobrew cups show no signs of deterioration. These were a very handy addition to my coffee making arsenal.

Love the fact that I can use regular coffee, which saves some money on coffee. The cup is flat on the bottom so you can set it on the counter while you fill it. Then to clean it I just rinse it under the faucet and put it in the dishwasher occasionally to clean it.
