I cook a lot and my family loves deviled eggs so I decided I would try the EggGenie electric egg cooker. I was absolutely amazed by how well it works. Out of all the as seen on TV items I have purchased the EggGenie is by far the best product I have bought so far. I love it because it is so easy even a kid can use it, the hardest part it piercing the eggs. I love the fact that the eggs come out perfect every time.

works great for a hard boiled eggs. I always mess up hard boiled eggs on the stove and with the egg genie I can cook 7 eggs at one time by steaming them. Just add the water to the line and once all the water is steamed up, your egg genie will give a sound like a tea pot

Surprising. A TV product that does what it says! The EggGenie electronic egg cooker is pretty neat. I mean lets face it. Who likes all of the work that you need to do in order to get hard boiled eggs. And then, what if you don't wait long enough! But this little machine is pretty good. It can hold up to 7 eggs in one shot. The instructions were very clear and when followed to the letter, you get the perfect hardboiled egg every time with none of the grief involved. I've had it for about a year now and it has held up to 3 time a week use. Wait. I should probably get my cholesterol checked now that I am thinking about it. Eating so many eggs can't be great for you. Anyway, the item is relatively small, easy to clean and works. What more can you ask for? Well, it would be nice if it put the water and eggs inside of itself automatically. Maybe in version 2.0.

I found this while I was browsing through a thrift store, and since I had a craving for egg salad at the time, I bought it on impulse. Not only did it cook the eggs as I wanted it to, but it did it with such ease that I took the time to write out the entire process for you below: 1. Add hole-pricked eggs for cooking. 2. Add water as the instructions say. 3. Turn it on and wait until it buzzes. Wasn't that easy?  You bet it was; I've never been so pleased with a kitchen product.  Eggs came out perfect every time I used it; it was as if the machine wasn't even aging.  I kept using it until I got sick of boiled eggs, at which point I passed it off to a friend by declaring, "Try it, you'll love it!"  As far as I know, he's still got that machine now, and I sometimes wish I had it back. Most as-seen-on-TV products have very ultra-specific purposes, especially kitchen items, and the Egg Genie is no exception.  But it will produce a better, easier boiled egg than anything else you've ever tried.  If you even remotely love your boiled eggs, this is the product you've been waiting for!

I love hard-boiled eggs, but always seem to have the problem of the shells sticking to the egg after they are cooked. Since I have purchased the Egg Genie Electric Egg Cooker I don't have that problem any more! This egg cooker takes all the guess work out of making hard-boiled eggs and makes them perfect each and every time! Now, my eggs are cooked perfectly and the shells simply slide off the eggs after cooking! No more boiling water and having shells that crack during cooking! No more setting timers and wondering if your eggs are actually cooked, or not! I love the fact that it is so super easy to use and I don't have to make a mess of my kitchen. Just plug it in an the egg cooker does all the work! Such a small price to pay for something that really makes my life in the kitchen so much more wonderful! I would highly recommend this item to any cook out there- novice or pro!! Happy Cooking, everyone!!!

I received the Egg Genie for Christmas because we love having hard boiled eggs.  This is by far the best "As Seen on TV" product I have used.    It really is amazing and very simple.  You don't have to worry about boiling water and having it spill over or the eggs cracking in the boiling water.  This product is great!  You really can do other things while the eggs cook instead of always watching the stove.  My daughter can even help me make the eggs.  Of course we have to be cautious because the eggs have the be pierced on the top and it.  The unti does get hot but just be sure it is not sitting next to anything that will melt form the steam.  I have not tried the soft boiled or poached eggs yet.  The hard boiled come out perfect every single time.  The Egg Genie comes with an insert that turns the machine into a vegetable steamer as well!  I will have to try that soon!  I suggest everyone try this if they like making eggs a lot.

I'm usually skeptical about "as seen on TV" product - after getting this as a gift last Christmas and tried it for the first time - I was thrilled - perfect boiled eggs every time and I didn't have to worry about boil overs or cracked eggs.  Now we can have boiled eggs, deviled eggs, soft boiled eggs over toast, creamed eggs on toast any time we want.  It was a gift from my Mom and she gave everyone in the family one she likes her so much, now we are giving them this Christmas to others.
