I used to love shopping on DrJays.com especially for shoes. I find that in the recent years they have sort of gone downhill. They have always been good about shipping and getting things out to me in a timely manner. I've also never had a problem when I had to return an order once either. I do feel that drjays.com just doesn't have as many options to choose from anymore though and what few options they do have sucks. The customer service is fairly decent, I have never had an issue with their representatives. The only time I buy from drjays.com is when I'm looking for a good deal on clothing since they seem to be fairly cheap but what can you expect when it comes to urban/hip hop clothing brands? I also think their site would be better if there were more options when it comes to children's clothing. I can never seem to find any clothing in my daughter's size and they only have a few items to choose from for kids in the first place.

I have been using Drjays.com a little over two years now and I must say that sometimes they get it right and sometimes they get it wrong. What I like about Drjays.com is that they have a wide variety of brands and clothing for discounted prices. When checking out, they also have further price reduction discounting opportunities every time. I like how Drjays.com's customer service representatives are readily available every time you call and how you don't have to wait for long periods of time as you would have to with other companies. What I don't like about drjays.com is that sometimes the picture on the website doesn't match the actual product's quality once it is delivered to you. They also have many delays in delivery, especially when there is a natural disaster occurring nearby. It could be a two to three week delay in delivery. The great part about having this issue though is that they allow returns and process them fairly quickly along with a refund or exchange within thirty days. If you are looking forward to having an item in a quick amount of time, I wouldn't recommend you get it from Drjays.com but if you don't mind the wait and like cheap prices, Drjays.com is the place for you. I gave it a seven because I like the majority of their clothes and you can get a lot of great deals, despite having issues with misleading photos or delays in delivery. I believe that Drjays.com's pros outweigh their cons.

Last year while browsing online for a clothing shop that doesn't charge a huge amount for urban and hip hop style clothing, I came across DrJays.com. And I am so glad that I did. This website is great, has so many recognizable name brands, clothing you won't find any where else, and their prices can't be beat. DrJays.com has been my go to source for urban and hip hop clothing ever since. My husband loves that I discovered this site because he likes to be unique and hates when he sees anyone else with the clothing he owns on. This site allows me to find him unique pieces that no one else around us own. They also send out email promotions regularly and the clearance section of the site is awesome. Especially if it's near the end of a season and their getting ready to bring in the new stuff, all the past season's merchandise is marked down incredibly new. I stock up for the following year!

Never order online from Dr. Jay's. Return shipping via UPS is expensive, but that's the good part! After you spend money for shipping and then again for return shipping, they receive the item back and then tell you they won't take it back. They make up a phony excuse and you are not allowed to speak to a supervisor or anyone about it. They told me I couldn't return some Nike sneakers, which I had returned because they were too small. I tried them on in my house, put them back in the box, and finally found a UPS store, and returned them. They said the soles were worn which is a LIE because I NEVER EVEN WORE THEM OR EVEN WALKED IN THEM!!!! There are plenty of legitimate sites out there like Amazon, etc. who care about their reputation and don't rip you off. Order there or anywhere else. I never usually write reviews, but feel people need to be warned.

I believe that a site should be easy to navigate, honest, ship in a timely manner, and be caring of their consumers. With that said, I can sat that **Dr. Jays aka DrJays.com **missed the mark badly when it comes to being caring to the consumer.***About Dr. Jay's***This site sells urban clothing from a huge list of makers. Many items are expensive but the sales are good. There is nothing wrong with the site per se. I would prefer a smoother navigating experience but I got by. They take your money, send emails, and do send the orders out. However, if you run into a problem, while they maintain a friendly tone, they basically tell you to stick it.***My Stressful Story***I ordered over$200.00 worth of urban clothing for my son and myself. Prices were good because of sales and the items seemed to be decent. I paid with a Paypal virtual credit card which is essentially Paypal but they create a one time MasterCard number to use. This way, I don't have to worry that I will be repeatedly charged and the site gets their money fast. All that went fine. After quite a while, I started wondering where my order was. I tracked it and, to my shock, Fed Ex said it had been delivered to my door two days prior! (No signature required.)This began one of the most stressful transactions I ever had. When I saw that info, I wrote to the site and then called Fed Ex. They asked me if my address was (for the sake of argument since I don't give out my address) 420 Main Road. I said NO! It was 320 Main Road. That is how I found out the package was delivered to the wrong house. When I checked my online account, sure enough, it said my address was 420. In all the years I have been shopping online, I have never gotten my own address wrong. Ever. I still am not 100% sure I DID get it wrong. Who knows where that info came from? Paypal automatically fills in my shipping adress and it is correct. I didn't type my own address into the fields. Paypal has never gotten my address wrong before or since.I then started a series of calls that still have not ended. I found the number of the people who got my package and they said they did get it but called Fed Ex to pick it up and they did. I was relieved. Meanwhile, **Dr. Jay's** said they couldn't help me. It wasn't their problem. But nicely. As days passed, I learned that the package was NOT picked up by Fed Ex and my nasty, lying neighbors must have kept the box. KARMA KARMA KARMA! I kept in constant contact with **Dr. Jay's** and was really upset, not with them but the situation. All that money was gone, The package was gone, and I was pretty much screwed. **Dr. Jay's** continued to write emails but essentially told me I am on my own, deal with it. They didn't care at all.After making a claim with Fed Ex and stressing like crazy, I told the site that I was going to have to make a new order and replace the lost items. I said if the package showed up, I hoped they would credit me. I then asked for a goodwill gesture of 10% off or free shipping considering they did NOTHING to help me and blew me off this whole time - even though no one could verify how the wrong address was posted.They said no. They were under no obligation to do anything. I know this. But what about their customers? What about someone who spent $200.00 there and would be coming back often? What about the "service" in customer service? I decided not to replace my items. You know, there are a LOT of sites out there and I have had GREAT service from some. I don't believe I should reward these people with another order when they didn't have the courtesy of helping me, replacing my order for a slight discount (that would have made me a customer for life) or even giving me a goodwill 10% off a new order!I am out the money, apparently my neighbors are wearing urban hoodies to bingo (They are older I have gathered) and only Fed Ex has been open and accommodating, even telling me to file a claim with them and they will try to get me a refund somehow. (see update below)**Dr. Jay's **has decent looking trendy clothes. But they stink when it comes to dealing with issues and customer service. I saw a refund from the site by chance and wrote to find out why and that's when I found out that the package ended up back there. I would have loved to have had it reshipped for the regular shipping charge as I really wanted the items but that was not an option. I never did see the items I ordered again on the site as most were on sale. I didn't want Dr.Jay's to simply give me another order for free. I wanted to at least talk to them about the situation and see if they could file a report or something to help me to track down the package. They did not do that. I did that myself and all dealings with the shipper, my neighbors, etc, were generated by me. I did not file a complaint against Dr.Jay's and I did not attempt to get my money back. I am aware that the fault was mine no matter what happened from ordering to shipping. I simply wanted some cooperation during a very stressful time as a customer of the site. I wanted nothing more than to at least TALK to customer service but only got a recording. All correspondence was left to email.

well i wanted to share my own experience with drjays wich also concludes that their customer service sucks badly and customers get blown away with problems. i do a lot of shopping online and deal with lots of different companies and etc. my recent 4-5 months order at drjays alone were more then 1000$, thats not a  bid deal. but then i had 1 order for $35 that got charged to my CC twice, so ok no problem, things happen. i call drjays and tell them that, they tell me that they didnot charge me twice and that second charge will go away by itself ant etc. now again, i deal with lots of CC and run my own bussiness i know whats a pending charge is, and that was not one of them. its ok i agree to wait. after couple days the charge is still there. i call them again,same story, they dont see me charged 2 times, tell me to call my cc and talk to them as they cant help me. i call my amex and they tell me that it is right and they charged me 2 times for the $35. so what i do, i dispute and amex does me a favor and gives my 35 back and i moved on and forgot about it. till i tried to order something again from drjays. i placed another order that got canceled with no notice or anything. so i call to figure out that amex did a chargeback and now drjays telling me that i own them 35$!!! i was in shock. the rep was very polite and nice, but basicly put it as if it was my fault that i did a chargeback. and they can not accept any order from me unless i pay them. this was what i said to them "drjays charged my card 2 times for 35$, you did nothing about that to resolve it. i called my cc and atleast they looked into that and confirmed that i was charged twise and returned my money. now this is between drjays and amex. i paid for my order once." the response was i still their system dont show me charged twice and i "would" own them the damn $35. i was ok, what can i do. you basicly dont leave me any choice. im not going to shop with drjays anymore. im banned :) i went back and tried to order on different account with different names, different card, but it still has my name on the card and billing address is the same. my order still got cancelled. I lol. but it made me mad how messed up it is. it was not my fault at all. but i got kicked out without any questioning. i dont really care, i can buy clothes anywhere. there is billions of websites for it. i can spend my couple cents somewhere else.

I wanted to get some sequined black chucks. I went to converse.com, but all they had were the lo-top ones and I could only find them in silver or red, also they were $80! I am a girl on a budget so I thought I could find something similar I searched for "sequined sneakers" and drjays.com popped up. I checked it out and the shoes were hi-tops, and apple bottoms, which is a really good brand! They were on sale for $37! The shipping wasn't much at all, and I placed my order on Wednesday night and they arrived at my door on today (Saturday). I was very pleased. It was easy and accurate to track my shipping and I'm very pleased with my purchase, they seem high quality, and I think they are even cuter than the converse ones! 5 stars! (:
