I am personally not a fan of Dove Define and Shine Control Gel with Weightless Moisturizers. It works like any other gel should, but I expected more from Dove because the remainder of their product have worked so well for me. This gel smells horrible, a bit like bad sunblock and chemicals.  It wasn't the usual soft fresh sent I was accustomed to with Dove. Also, on the package it states "weightless moisutrizers", I don'd doubt that moisurizers are added, but I did not notice the difference after I used this. The gel does get the job done and holds my curly hair in place all day.  In addition, I've never had a problem washing this product out in the shower. I gave this to my boyfriend and he uses it and daily.  To be honest, I will continue to use this and allow my boyfriend to use as much as he desires, but I will not purchase this control gel again. I will probably try something else manufactured by dove, but not this particular product.
