Most HelpfulGus is a 6 pound, 2 year old Maltese/Dacschund who will no longer settle for a "normal" rawhide. Not since me, his mom, brought home Dingos. Not your ordinary rawhide, Dingos have real jerky meat wrapped in the middle. For Gus, life can't get any better when he's given one. In fact, don't bother...

Most HelpfulI know first hand they can get stuck in a dog's throat. We almost lost our minature dachshund dog last night to a mini dingo. He loves them and will chew on them constantly, well he decided to swallow too big of piece. He was not breathing, limp in our hands and foaming at the mouth before we able to work it down his throat. It was to far in for us to reach down and pull it out.
As much as our little guy loves Dingos he will never get another one.
A mini-Dingo rawhide chew killed by little 11 pound terrier. He choked in my arms and there was nothing I could do other than watch him suffocate. It is all over the web that these things are dangerous. It is pure greed that stores still stock these. At a minimum, they should warn customers that there is a substantial choking risk posed by this product.
My dad told me about Dingo Bones when I got my first Pomeranian, Angus. Last year we also got a female Pomeranian, Cara. Angus is now almost 4, and Cara is 18 months. They are in the routine of getting up every day, watching my husband or I fill their food and water, and then patiently waiting for their Dingo Bones. It's their very favorite treat, and they get quite upset if they don't get one EVERY day. They've both been to the Vet recently for checkups, and the Vet said that their dental health is incredible, most likely due to their rawhide "habit". Pomeranians tend to have very sensitive...
review »My little puppy loves the mini dingo bones. I got a package with 7 minis and 1 SUPER dingo bone. This one has no knots, it's just pressed rawhide with the meaty middle. It lasts longer and he loves it just as well.
I would heed all the advice from the owners whose dogs have choked on rawhide bone knots. Kilo is only allowed rawhide bones if he chews them right next to me on the bed, where he can be closely supervised.
Even super dingos get chewed into smaller soft pieces that are tempting to the dog to swallow whole. No one wants to witness the choking death of a beloved pet! No matter what he...
review »After my children left home, a friend gave me a puppy to keep me company.. Needless to say, two years later my dog has become my "third child".. Anyone that is really close to their pet knows exactly what I'm talking about... So, Buddy, my Lhasa Apso, gets pampered the same way I treated my children.. When I come across a new treat, we usually try it.. Buddy is very picky about the flavors that he will eat.. So, I was very surprised when he loved the taste of these rawhides so much.. When you find a good thing, you stick with it! I've had no problems with these treats except that I can't...
review »I have four small dogs that are very spoiled. They will be still and occupied for hours with a Dingo mini chew. They love the flavor and chew on it until it disappears. They will even try to steal each others chews. I have a cookie jar that I fill with these and they dance around when they see me standing at that shelf because they know that they will be getting a treat they love. I have tried other brands and they just don't measure up to these. My dogs will leave the others lay if they find an old piece of one of the Dingo mini chews hidden away somwhere.
these little bones were something I thought would be a great treat for my little baby. She is 4 years of age and while we have tried many different bones and rawhides and chewies none of these seem to be her favorite. We always end up returning to pig ears. She like these and they would last her for a reasonable amount of time. SHe could easily carry it with her. She didn't always stay with it though. I would sometimes find some of them in pieces on the floor and if I left them to see if she returned to them she never would.
Dingos are a great treat for both my two Bostons and two Rotties. The fact that they come in different sizes and shapes make it a great reward at the end of any training session.
The little Dingos are not the safety hazard as many large size rawhide treats and it gives the Bostons hours of chewing fun.
Both the Rotties are aggressive chewers and love the Dingos and which are often gone in a matter of minutes.
My furkids love them and I tell all my friends about Dingo treats!
