Better Improvement over their vostro line.

Comments about Dell Latitude E510 Notebook - Core i5 i5-520M 2.40 GHz - 14.1 - Silver 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM - 320 GB HDD...:

Dell Laptop E5410 is the business side of Dell Small Business. The laptop quality under this category is much better in my opinion than Dell Home. The Customer service and tech support under small business is great. There is usually no bloatware at all on this laptop when you get them preconfigured. The Dell Latitude E5410 comes with a great fast Core i5 Processor, 4GB of ram which is enough for anything you do, light and portable when you are traveling on business trips and great amount of hard drive space which I believe is 320GB hard drive as a default. I get about 5 hours of battery life on this thing with the lights being dimmed all the day with wifi always on. The sound quality isnt so great as HP but this thing never overheats like HP laptops. There is also a finger print reader on this thing if you don't like to type in any passwords. Overall, I really like this laptop over all the past HP laptops I have and my Dell Vostro 1400.

Comments about Dell Latitude E510 Notebook - Core i5 i5-520M 2.40 GHz - 14.1 - Silver 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM - 320 GB HDD...:

My old laptop has been giving me alot of problems lately. This was an HP Pavilion and the fans are just getting louder and louder, the laptop overheats frequently, and the screen has been flickering for months now and HP refuses to acknowledges the problem. SO I decided to just buy a new laptop from their competitors. I decided to buy one from Dell's Small Business side cause I heard they have much better tech support and customer service. So I finally found the Dell Latitude E5410 with a Core i5 Processor, 4 GB of ram, 320 GB hard drive, and a decent size battery. All I can see is that this laptop is so fast. I have so many programs on and it does not lag at at.This thing is very ultra portable though with about 4-5 hours on battery alone. The screen display is actually pretty good being very bright and crisp. I like how it is anti-glare and has a much better screen resolution that past Dell Models. This also comes with a fingerprint reader for higher security.

Dell Latitude isn't the best around

Comments about Dell Latitude E510 Notebook - Core i5 i5-520M 2.40 GHz - 14.1 - Silver 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM - 320 GB HDD...:

I got the Dell Latitude E5410 Notebook from my office to remotely work on critical issues. I was excited to get Dell Latitude as I have read plenty of good reviews about it. The system has Intel core i5 i5-520M 2.40 GHz processor, 14" screen size, 4GB harddisk so enough you can ask for in this model.

I also liked the weight of this system which is not too heavy and also the look is very sturdy. The keyboard is nicely organised so you don't feel that you are working on a small size laptop. My previous laptops were either 15.6 or 17.3

The major problem that I faced is the blue screen of death. Every now and then the system shows the blue screen when you reboot it or if you don't shutdown it for long time. Manually doing the hard boot will start the system then. I have liked the performance and speed but overall I am still not satisfied with this product as I had expected a lot from Dell Latitude.

Pretty Portable!

Comments about Dell Latitude E510 Notebook - Core i5 i5-520M 2.40 GHz - 14.1 - Silver 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM - 320 GB HDD...:

I received this laptop for work and was expecting it to be fast given the processor speed and the 4GB of RAM. So far, I have been disappointed in the speed of this machine. For example, maybe it's Windows 7 Professsional or Office 2007. I find that it freezes when I just have one Excel spreadsheet open. This happened to me on multiple occassions since I received the laptop, but not all the time. Not only that but the wireless switch is always loose so I would loose internet wifi connection anytime since the switch is in the front. If you put this on your laptop you would always hit the switch. This thing is very ultra portable though with about 4-5 hours on battery alone. The screen display is actually pretty good being very bright and crisp. I like how it is anti-glare and has a much better screen resolution that past Dell Models. This also comes with a fingerprint reader for higher security. The sound quality on this isn't so good but business workers probably don;'t need state of the art sound either.
