This laptop has done everything and more. I can be playing a movie (through the HDMI port), editing videos I've recorded, while ripping cd's and this machine doesn't slow down. Normally I use it as a casual laptop, but it can handle the most demanding of users. Windows 7 has been a treat stepping up from XP. I like the gadgets, but wish there were more. The web cam isn't that great, but I never use it. The screen is great. I can have it on the lowest brightness setting and see everything fine. The only thing I would have added was the back-lit key board. I've had no problems with this machine for the year I've owned it.
