I can't beat the deal for the price. It serves all my needs. Performance I can do mine "screwing jobs" to major drilling jobs with the powerful 18 volt battery. Durability The 18 Volt battery seems to last forever. Very seldom have I had to use the second one. It actually came with 2 batteries which was really a great feature. Versatility I can use it for a simple task of putting in a screw as well as boring a quite sizable hole in something with the greatest of ease. No major pressure is required to accomplish this task and the self-adjusting chuck is a great feature. Design Not bad. No complaints. Battery Charge As I said previously, the battery usually will outlast me! I would say that is pretty good. I am a fairly diligent DIY when it comes to things around the house whether it be something as simple as tightening a screw or installing new paneling.

The Dewalt 18V Cordless Drill DC970 is an absolutely awesome hand held power drill, no man or woman who does any kind of fix-it work, inside or outside, should be without one of these. It is an easy to use drill, fast, a great quality drill that is one of the best on the market at this time.  I gave my guy one for Christmas last year and I used it at least as much as he did, maybe more.  He kept telling me "That is MY drill", not yours, don't forget to give it back to me, ha, so this year for one of my Christmas gifts, he gave me my very own.  You can throw away all of the screw drivers because this has all of the sizes and different drill bits for every project that needs to be completed inside or outside.  Throw away all of the other drills and go shopping to get this one.  It is the last one you will ever need.  The batteries are long lasting and it charges extremely fast.  My old drill took forever to charge up the battery and it did not hold a charge for very long.  This one was charged last week and it still has lots of power.  Ladies, you will love this one.  Just don't forget to HIDE IT from your men, or it will disappear.
