I've dropped the travel mug and it doesn't break or spill!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I saw these mugs at Costco months back and bought them. Usually i don't do this without checking out reviews first. But the price was good and heck it's Costco so easy to return. I was NOT dissapointed. I usually use the Sigg water bottles for my kids and an off brand cup for myself. Well these are the best for adults and kids. They make kids ones (which i'm waiting for my shipment so i'll report back). I've dropped the mugs.....and they've rolled down the driveway into the street......and no spills and no breaks. Ok, it did scuff up the top a bit. I'm impressed. The price is not high for such a durable product. I'm an earth loving hippie that tries to reuse, reduce, recycle. Tries. This product helps me try.

The last travel mug you'll ever buy

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This thing does not spill. I guess you could take a sledgehammer to it, but for everyone else, have faith that this will keep fluids inside, and not on your shirt.

I really like the self-sealing lid, making one-handed operation quick and easy. To be honest, it doesn't insulate quite as well as my extremely old stainless steel thermos, but it still performs admirably. It'll keep contents hot for a good 4 hours or so from my experience, but that will depend on your definition of "hot."

I'm generally quite gentle with my belongings, so I haven't had trouble with broken lids, and I can't really imagine how it would break. But if you live a dangerous life, I suppose you'd want a more rugged...

The Contigo Autoseal Mug is the best travel mug

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I was given a single Contigo Autoseal Mugs for Christmas last year, and I loved it! It quickly became our favorite travel mug. In fact, my husband and I always fought over who would get to use it. So this year, we bought another set of two, so we always have one ready to use for each of us. They keep the coffee hot longer than any other mugs I've had. They're stylish, sturdy, and don't seem to tip over easily like some other mugs. They seem like good quality mugs, with stainless on the inside and outside, and non-slip rubber grips. They also have a nice wide button that you press to open the spout, which makes it comfortable to use. Because they stay closed when you're not drinking out ...

Best Mug EVER!!!!!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

A couple of my coworkers have this mug at work and have been raving about it, so I finally went out and bought one last month. This is the best mug ever!! There are so many times when I will make myself a cup of tea and then get sidetracked/busy at work. By the time I get to my drink, it's already cold. This mug keeps your tea (or any warm beverage) warm for hours! I am extremely happy with the quality of the product and that it actually does what it's advertised to do! Recently, I started putting cold water in there, and it keeps the water cold for a long time too! The Contigo mug has this auto-seal on it, so this is how it keep your warm beverages warm, and your cold beverages cold. The contigo mug comes in a few colors. At first I thought it was a little pricey at $19.99 (bought from Target), but it is seriously worth every penny! This is definitely the best mug I ever bought and I have no regrets about this purchase.

Good Travel mug

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I purchased my Contigo travel mug a few weeks ago on the suggestion of my sister.  First, for the positive- I love the fact that it does not spill.  You can hold it upside down and shake it and as long as you put the lid on correctly; it will not spill- this is a must when kids are around.  While it does keep coffee hotter than my old mug, it does not keep it warm for four hours.  My sister's seems to keep beverages warm longer; so I'm not sure if this is a gamble you take with this cup.  Either way, who makes a cup of coffee and doesn't drink it for four hours?

To drink from the cup, there's a little button on the top of the cup you press while pouri...

Works well, hard to clean fast

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

This travel coffee mug was a gift from my parents. I had heard good

things about these from co-workers and was curious to try it out. I am

surprised by the thin walls at how well it keeps my coffee warm. The

top is specially designed. It works really well for when you want to

drink your hot coffee in the car and not spill any on you. There is a

button that you push and it opens a small opening for you to drink out

of. When you let go of the button it seals well and keeps the coffee

inside. The lid screws on and it seals tight. The cup looks nice too -

the cup has a nice shape to it and the lid looks nice. Here are my

complaints - it is hard to clean. I have been putting the bottom cup

part in the dishwasher, but the paint is pealing off. The top is not

suppose to go in the dishwasher. For a busy mom I dislike things that I

can't throw in the dishwasher. So I wash it by hand each time

begrudgingly.

Contigo Travel Coffee Mug

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

I received the red and blue travel mugs as a Christmas gift.  I was very excited about them at first because of all the accumulated coffee stains in my car.  Once they were put into action, I was not so impressed.  First off, I am a small lady with very small hands.  It took a lot of hand effort to press the button to drink my coffee, enough so that when I was commuting 45 miles, my hand would get tired of pressing the button half way though my drive.  Although the looks of the design seems like it would keep your coffee warmer, it did not.  I'm guessing it is the metal material making up the mug itself that is causing heat to escape.  I had much warmer cof...

Keeps it hot! Cool design :)

Overall

I love my new set of **Contigo Autoseal Mugs.  I bought the set of two from Costco when there was a coupon deal on them.  This made them an even better steal.  I got the two for $19.99 less $5 in a coupon.  I have had sooo many coffee mugs over the years and this by far is my favorite one to use.  It really keeps the coffee hot for quite some time and then warm for over 1/2 a day.  I haven't used it for cold yet, but it is the only one I use for my coffee.  I love the bright colors combined with the stainless steel.  The lids are heavy duty and the really don't leak when they tip over.  It fits really well into my car drink holders too.  They...

The best ever travel mug!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I purchased this travel mug about 6 months ago, and have used it almost every day since! It does a great job of keep cold beverages cold and hot beverages hot. I can brew a cup of coffee at home, seal it in this cup, drive 30 minutes to my office, and the coffee is still piping hot when I sit at my desk to drink it!  It seals tightly and easily. With other cups I have had difficulty fitting the threads together to screw the lid on, but not with this cup. I can even toss the full cup in my purse and have never had a spill. It is easy to drink from as you simply press the button to open the drinking space and release the button to reseal the cup. It fits easily in to the cup holder in each of our vehicles and has a rubberized texture on the size of the cup that helps secure it in the cup holder. It comes in a variety of colors, so you can specify a different color for different family members. It's also really easy to clean.

I use my Contigo Travel Mug every day!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I love my Contigo Mug and use it every day!  I like to sip my coffee over a few hours in the morning and this travel mug keeps my coffee hot for hours!  I like the fact that unlike similar travel mugs, this one does not spill or leak!  I can use it by my laptop and not have to worry about accidental spills.  The lid is easy to screw on, however you do need to make sure it is on straight.  The only time I ever spilled was when I didn't have the lid on properly.  I learned quickly to double check the lid!  It is pretty easy to clean, although you do have to take some care in cleaning the lid.  I use this mug with my Keurig coffee maker and it just barely fits underneath it.  I have had mine for a couple of years and although it has a vew minor dents and scratches from using it every day, it has held up really well.  I plan on getting more of these to give as gifts to my coffee-drinking family members!

Keeps the coffee hot and is spill proof.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I bought a two pack of these mugs at our local Costco.  They work great.  The lids are a little hard to clean.  I find that if you soak them in vinegar, it removes the coffee stains and the coffee odor.  They are indeed spill proof and they work great.  As an alternative, the newer versions are dishwasher safe and they do come out clean.  I have to say, it keeps the coffee very warm for about two to three hours.  Great for roadtrips and the morning commute.

I have tossed my Contigo mug into the backseat when I am done drinking and also tossed a full mug into my shoulder bag on my way to a meeting.  It has never leaked.  Sounds impossible, but it is true.  They never leak, no matter where you toss them.  The secret is in the lid.  You do need to press the button when drinking, but you get used to it after awhile.  I have to say, I bought this coffee mug two years ago and I love it.  I may update soon, but will probably buy the same brand.

Best ever but lid breaks easily

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I like it so much I bought 24 a year ago.   That's right, 24 (costco had them at $9 ea when first introduced)!   We gifted 10.   Of the 14 remaining; 5 lids are now permanently useless from dropping.   They sell replacemennts for $8 ea, sigh.

Also; be sure to wash lids in dishwasher immediately, and pre-rinse if used with milk products.   Some nasty mold grew in one left in the trunk for 2 weeks - the lid has lots of corners and crevises and I would only trust a steamy dishwasher cycle to get it all.

We use them most for water cups to keep the cat from drinking and prevent little spills, but it works great for trips but again; avoid letting it slip from the bag because about 1 or 3 drops results in broken plastic innards.

Contigo is great for hot and iced breavages.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

If there is one bottle I can't live without, it will be this Contigo bottle. To me, it is the perfect timing that it keeps my beverage hot. I know that I can fill it up with coffee or tea in the morning and by the time I get to work and wait 30 minutes I can enjoy my beverage without it burning my tongue. The only thing I wish they'll do is make a larger one... just a little larger. I do have another bottle from a different brand that keeps my beverage hot longer but to be honest, it is just too long. I end up having to open the cover in order to cool it down. The Contigo bottle is good keeping a beverage hot for about 2-3 hours before it enters the warm zone. Even at the warm zone, I'...

My Contigo autoseal mug rocks!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

A few months ago my boyfriend decided to switch from plastic mugs to stainless steel.  We found a two pack of the Contigo auto seal stainless steel mugs for $19.99 at Costco.  Later that day, we saw individual mugs for $23.99 at Target.  Total bargain at Costco.  He finds the capacity of the mugs to be a little on the small side and he generally does not use the lids.  I love the lids.  I love the deadman button for drinking, and that I can turn the cup all the way back to drink when I'm sprawled on the couch.  The mugs keep contents warm for hours.  I ended up buying a second two pack and giving one of the mugs away as a birthday present.  The re...

The Contigo is the best travel mug ever!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I looked for a proper travel mug for weeks and found it! I fill this up with tea in the morning and chuck it into my lunch bag upside down. It is so awesome. I am actually drinking beverages out of it (usually give up cause travel mugs can be messy), but this one is perfect. No spills, stainless steel, sleek and green / silver (my pack came with two), aaaaaaand I got two for $25 at Costco--that's the price of one mug that is half the quality elsewhere...what more could you ask for?
