For anyone who wears a lot of eye makeup or even eye makeup daily, a primer makes all the difference. After trying many different primers, smashbox (very nice), urban decay (nice), I discovered Bobbi Brown's Vanilla cream shadow stick. The vanilla color in itself is beautiful and can be worn as an eyeshadow, blended well. But as a primer, you apply very little and massage it over the eye lids. It is non sticky or greasy and coats your eyelids, so any eye shadow you wear will sit well and not dust off your lids. Bobbi makes great eye shadows but over the cream shadow they come out even nicer - never crease or clump or separate and the colors remain vibrant and radiant throughout the day. The gel liner goes on smoothly too.
